Slightly larger than the deathadder which i have used and been used to for years and years. But i love this mouse. Works well enough for shooters with the two button side panel, great for MMOs with the 12 button one, and the circle one for MOBAs works well enough. Only complaint is sometimes the mouse wont register changing the side panel and my MMO panel buttons wore out very quickly, but i dont use more than 5 buttons on my mluse to play WOW so the MOBA panel works fine for me.

The ease of use and options side mounted keys are great. You can use the simple 2 button mount, 7 button mount for more options or the 12 button mount for those gamers out there that need them as ease instead of moving ur hand halfway across the keyboard

Excellent for competitive gaming with a multitude of hotkeys. Fast speed, and great quality. I utilize all twelve keys on the left side, but the feature to swap to a two or six pad button layout is a great option for games that require less hotkeys.

I've been a PC user since the 80s, and in that time I have used a LOT of mice. Out of all of them, this one is probably my favorite, it's just good at everything. The design of the mouse is perfect, not too heavy, not too light, and the side button plates allow this to work for every situation. I first got acclimated to having my side number pad during my wow days, and now it just feels like something I can't give up, and this one works beautifully for that. I am also a fan of the side push scroll wheel for page up/page down. All of the buttons feel great and are extremely responsive, and the mouse tracks with pinpoint accuracy. The mouse also works perfectly with my preferred RGB software, signalrgb, with no modification required. I do wish they had used per button rgb on the side buttons rather than 1 zone for all the side buttons, but it isn't a big deal, since who is staring at their mouse lights when gaming anyway? Overall, I can definitely recommend this mouse. The price is fair, considering this is essentially 3 mice in one.

Awesome mouse. I’m not a pro gamer by any means. I’m just an average user playing MMOs mainly and FPS games occasionally. I didn’t really need to Trinity version of this mouse, but it was all that was available and it was on sale. I must say that I was wrong about not needing the other side plates. While I can play FPS games fine with the MMO plate attached, I find that it’s much more comfortable with one of the other two plates because I can have a firmer grip with my thumb. Overall, the design is nice. The side plates attach via magnets, which works very well. I thought this would have plastic clips or screws but fortunately that isn’t the case. My one and only gripe would be the mouse wheel. It’s very, VERY tactile. It feels like your churning plastic gears that aren’t 100% compatible and it’s skipping every other tooth or something. According to other feedback I’ve read, this is normal. It’s also a bit loud. I’ve gotten used to it but if your currently using a super smooth scroll wheel, prepare for something different.

Fantastic gaming mouse. The 12 numbers side plate is very useful for programming in-game and opening up other ways to get those key presses in! I have had this mouse for a few months now and has not deteriorated in function or quality at all. Highly recommend!

I use this mouse when I have a lot of abilities or keybinds that I need to access quickly. If I am playing a shooter game I will swap to less keys and it’s so convenient that I don’t have to remap the buttons, just plug and play. The mouse is very light and the wire is super flexible so it doesn’t get in the way. It is made of plastic, feels durable but if you’re used to a higher quality material then it feels a little cheap, it’s very reliable and durable so it’s just a different feeling. Lots of customization and great DPI options. 10/10 my other mouse is G502 lightspeed but I recommend this one if you would like the option to have more buttons on your mouse hand.

I really enjoy using this mouse. It has great features and is comfortable to use. The two buttons in the center, behind the right and left standard mouse buttons function to increase or decrease the speed of movement of the cursor on screen. I find this feature to be very helpful in navigating different screens, as well as customizing movement in different games. Every button's input can be customized in the companion software. The lighting is a bonus to me and looks really nice, complimenting the rest of my setup's lighting. The different faceplates are a feature that sold me on this mouse since I play a variety of games. Very pleased with it overall.

The Razer Trinity is a good mouse for a multitude of different types of games. The side pops off and you have either the 2 button, the 8 button or the multi button one. The mouse is very smooth but I also have a metal mouse pad. Compared to my other mice I have used it is still smoother though. The mouse itself is fairly large so if you have small hands it may not fit that well. I have larger hands so it wasn't a issue. I have a couple gripes that take a star off though. One is the 2 sides, the one with 8 and the multi, make it hard to grip the mouse. When you lift the mouse you inevitably push a button. The other gripe is the software. I was aware of the Razer software but it's still annoying. You have to be constantly logged into the software for all the features. Other then that it's a good mouse.

The grip is something to get used to as it's a bit different from most other mice, but the interchangeable side buttons make it for this mouse. Up to 12 extra buttons for MMO's, or programs like Excel "what my girlfriend uses it for* come in really handy. If you're not looking for that many buttons at any given time you can swap to 9 extra buttons aligned in an easier to manage circular pattern, or the standard two extra on the top. Synapse software was a little troublesome to setup and register, but once everything was done it's a fantastic and easy to use app. Lighting customizations, profiles and editing buttons is all a very smooth process. Before buying though, I do suggest trying the mouse in hand to make sure it's a good fit for you.

I was looking for a mouse with a few extra buttons on the left side. Best Buy Associate recommended this one and its absolutely awesome. The fact the side plates can be changed with any of the three included has proved useful. The plates allow me to switch from gaming to production by simply removing the side plate which is magnetically attached. Just pop it off and put the other one on without any screws or hassles. I would say the only con is the DPI switch is a little sensitive for my clumsy hands. Sometimes I accidentally switch to max DPI, which is amazingly fast, and I find myself out of control. Other than that this mouse is perfect for me.

Decent. Slightly pricier than I wanted, but has served me well. Very comfortable to use, and aesthetically sleek. Would be nice if they still offered the Hex (the dedicated MOBA wheel model) since that's what I wanted, but I do not regret this purchase. I have not switched out the buttons since I opened it so I can't comment on that part of it's design but I will say the side panel is very sturdy. You may never realize it comes off on your own if not told, which is massive, but it's easy to do. Seems well designed, I'm just not into the modular thing. Biggest downside is requiring the newer version of the Synapse software to customize lights. The new Chroma options simply don't work. My old configs got automatically deleted when I upgraded and I wasn't able to recreate them in the new program bc the lights are just way less vivid for no reason. My keyboard was able to do bright and vivid different colors before, and now it can barely display several different colors at once. Effects also do not stack correctly. If you don't care about that though, the MOBA wheel is definitely good for getting more buttons without having as many as a MMO mouse, plus it has that panel if you want it. If you don't mind something a little bulkier and a little less pretty, the Logitech G600 will serve just as well at a much lower price. Breakdown: 5/5 quality. Very pretty and well made, all the Razer showmanship. 3/5 value: Would be a 4 at least if they still offered the Hex. This is more expensive than I preferred and I didn't want the modular design, but I'm not mad now that I have it. 2/5 ease of use: Low entirely because of Razer Synapse's required "upgrade". Mouse is a mouse - it gets you where you need to click. The software is *demonstrably* worse than before and it's not hard to tell. It could've at least pretended to save my profiles even if they didn't work for some bizarre reason...

This has been my go-to mouse for the entire life of the Razer Naga series mice. I play a wide range of MMos and other titles that are made accessible to play with this modular mouse. Its low profile, ease of swapping, and accuracy have not been matched by even Logitech mice. I will continue to recommend and buy these.

First off, having the interchangeable side plates makes it awesome for switching between games that have different key bind needs, but I found that without a place to rest my thumb it became quite a stretch hitting the upper and forward most buttons. Second it was a bit short. I don’t have huge hands, but it felt like it. To be able to click and use the scroll wheel whole still reaching the side buttons cause me to have an arched “claw” grip. Third is more of a personal opinion, but I think it’s far to light of a mouse. Interchangeable side panels but they couldn’t add modular weighting? Oh well. After using it for a little while I ended up selling it to a friend, wasn’t the right one for me. Would still recommend it, Even though it’s a little pricey.

I’ve tried to get into MMOs on probably a dozen previous occasions. I always bounced off of them because the reach from WASD to the number keys just did not feel natural to me. This mouse solved all that. Now I can reach all my hot keys with one thumb. The included software also has a great tool for creating your own macros and profiles. I was able to make a setup for each of my games with no prior experience with macros. Premium feel, great ergonomics and stylish RGB round out the other categories to make this my personal favorite gaming mouse.
