Great sounding system but more catered for PC and would consider alternate system if planning on using for MAC. Online app and phone apps not updated for use with current MAC operating systems. Can still use as speaker system but will not be able to customize settings if using for MAC.

When i opened the box the instructions were straight forward. Sound out of the box was great. It does have different pre sets as well as an adjustable equalizer. It does have different inputs if needed. Over all great system. Another razer product that was built with good physical quality and great overall sound

Amazing sound, cool RGB, but lacks in some areas

The Razer Nommo V2 speakers are pretty awesome overall and I'd absolutely recommend them with a few caveats.. if you want a simple setup for your PC that sounds awesome, look no further but check out the things I had concern with before you get them to make sure it won't be an issue with your setup.
First, here's the short list of what's awesome and what could be better (or what may be a deal breaker to some):
What's awesome:
Wireless sub
Wireless control dial
Bluetooth connectivity
Awesome powerful clear sound, with balanced strong bass
RGB syncs with Synapse, is bright and is easily customized or synced to many games
The dial control can be customized through synapse
THX spatial audio is cool and truly sounds amazing, but only works with Synapse
What could be better:
No inputs outside of USB and no headphone jack
No Xbox support
No adjustability and speakers are tall, will probably only sit next to your monitor, not under!
Spatial audio only works with Synapse software
Large wall power brick, knocks out several spaces on power strip
When Bluetooth connected RGB flashes it is VERY distracting with no way to customize it
No remote
Before going into the things that I wish could be better... I have to say these are amazing and the wireless control with wireless sub is awesome. It goes a long way toward eliminating clutter on your desk and keeps wires to a minimum. If that's the goal and you don't have a huge monitor or dual monitors these will be great. These speakers just sound amazing. They are powerful, and are very responsive with thundering bass, clear mids and trebles. At low volume they sounds great too, so I'm overall impressed in that aspect which is really the key thing for most people. When compared with the Leviathan or Creative Katana V2 though, these simply lack in a couple several areas for a lot of gaming setups, and I feel like Razer kind of missed the mark on these.
First concern I have is the size and recommended spacing for the THX audio.. these speakers cannot be adjusted neither height or direction and it DOES matter if you want to use the spatial audio. I have a gaming setup with an 49" ultra-wide monitor and there's simply just no way to set these speakers on the desk and have it work as they end up too far apart for THX to work optimally. Granted they do work in normal audio modes and if you don't care about the THX spatial audio then it wont matter as much. For most setups these, probably won't fit under your monitor because they're so tall/big and cannot be adjusted in any way. For being so premium, I would have expected that there would be some adjustability and compatibility with gaming setups that have large ultra wide displays or dual monitors which nearly all of my gaming friends have one or the other. Many used to have dual displays but have went to Ultrawide displays as it's just more immersive and these just don't jive with that kind of setup very well as they cannot sit lower and can really end up sitting only to the side. For some, this might not be a big deal and they have desk space for them to sit on the side but if you have a 38" or larger ultra wide or a larger 4k display you may want to check before you jump on these as there may be better options for that kind of setup like the Leviathan Soundbar or Katana V2.
Second is the complete lack of inputs. I am still stunned that there's no optical in or at the very least an analog in for sources that are not able to connect via USB or Bluetooth. For being so premium this is nearly a deal breaker unless you only ever intend to connect them to your PC.
Again for being so premium, I really wish these had a remote control with volume, keys for skipping, pausing, changing audio sources, sub volume, RGB brightness, etc. The dial is cool for simple tasks like volume and muting, but could have been complimented with a small remote control for some of these other tasks so you don't have to remember a bunch of different clicks or pull it up on the computer to adjust things.
The last is the Bluetooth mode... I don't know what Razer was thinking here.. if you connect these to the Bluetooth you will have no control over the RGB and to me it's very distracting and it makes that mode almost worthless, I absolutely do not like using them in Bluetooth mode because of that and really no ability to control anything while in Bluetooth, so Razer clearly didn't fully develop that feature out.
In all, yes, I'd recommend these only for the fact they are wireless and sound truly amazing and if the caveats listed don't bother you I'd say get them, you won't be disappointed.
If those areas do seem like they could be a concern, look at Razer's other speakers or look at other brands like Creative or SteelSeries for other options as these may fall short of expectation if any of those things are of concern for your setup.

Top of the Line 2.1 PC Speakers

The Razer Nommo V2 Pro Full-Range 2.1 PC Gaming Speakers with Wireless Subwoofer is a superior sound solution for the PC that provides excellent sound, customizable RGB, and options for connectivity. It comes with 4 pieces. There are 2 tabletop speakers that connect to each other, to the PC, and to a power cord. There is a wireless subwoofer that connects to its own power cord. There is a wireless puck/controller that controls power on/off, volume, and connection options. The whole setup feels extremely solid and durable. The desktop speakers have a heft to them that I have not felt with PC speakers before. They are fixed on a pedestal that is very secure; these aren't going to tip over without being physically pushed over. They have RGB that shines through a hard plastic bubble in the back, and the RGB is very well done. I would highly recommend downloading and connecting the speakers to the Razer Synapse app which will update the hardware drivers and allow control of the RGB and customization of the sound. The wireless subwoofer connects to the desktop speakers with a push of the pairing button on the back of it. It does not have RGB, but it feels very sturdy. The wireless puck is a nifty addition. It has a shiny silver top, and the top spins with a textured grip on the outside. Pushing/holding down the top of the puck can control power on, while spinning it controls volume up and down. It doesn't have RGB, but it does have a band that lights up green and blue depending on the status and connection type of the speakers. It takes batteries, but will auto shutdown after so long to save the battery life. It also has a nice heft to it. The solid weight and quality of each of these items made a big impression with me. I have had many Razer items and the top end quality of this speaker system is the best they have ever produced. It can connect via USB-C to the PC, or it can connect via Bluetooth. The sound is fantastic. Previously, I had my PC connected to a soundbar via HDMI. That did pretty well from a volume perspective but not always with clarity. The Razer Nommo V2 is superior in every respect. I can crank up music, games, calls, and not only can it play everything loudly but it also plays everything clearly whether the volume is low, medium, or high. I can't imagine desktop speakers producing a better 2.1 sound. The desktop speakers are angled slightly up and when they are on both sides of my monitor it sounds glorious. In games, when listening to footsteps and trying to understand where other players are on the map, these speakers do so much better than my old soundbar. The woofer produces great bass that you can crank up or down. The RGB customization via the app did a perfect job of allowing me to make the light subtle and to sync it with other RGB items, and to even shut down when the PC shuts down. Using the puck to power the speakers on and control volume is very useful. If you have volume control on your keyboard within finger reach, it may seem duplicative. But I still found myself using the puck and it can provide an unobtrusive but useful indicator on the status of the speakers. I was pretty blown away by the whole setup. The quality and materials used are top notch. The sound quality is superior. They have never lost connection or not powered up exactly when I wanted them to power up. I really like these speakers, and I would recommend them for any gamer or anyone who likes to listen to music on their PC.

Initially had bought this, had to return it because I got a faulty one. (Firmware would not update). The subwoofer keeps going in and out and you have to keep unplugging to work. Secondly half the time you can’t change the RGB lights like you’re supposed to on the app. If it was not for the 15 day return policy, I would have returned it. What happened to the good ole days when you had 30 days. Everything is cheaply made to the point they had to change their return policy. Best Buy, count yall days. Market don’t look good for you.

when they work the speakers sound great. After about a year the speakers would randomly cut in and out very frequently. Constantly have to reset. Customer service gave me a few unhelpful software and hardware trouble shoot tasks that I had already tried. Customer service said it was a hardware problem but since I was 4 weeks past my 1 year warranty there was nothing they would do about it.

I usually try to start with what I liked about the product... but I am really struggling. I am returning the purchase.
I did like the overall intent of what these aimed to do - but the execution was quite poor. I did like the low desk profile of the speakers themselves. I wanted something with decent sound, that did not take up a ton of desk real estate. The chroma lights were a cool touch, but were ultimately disappointing.
Out of the box, the subwoofer overpowered the music and was tuned way too high. It took a considerable amount of time to pair the sub with the set.
The chroma lighting on the back were grossly underpowered. I could have done with double the amount of light.
My major beef was that I would have to turn the speakers on each time I sat down to use my device. I found an area in the razer software to set the speakers to never go to sleep, and that didn't do anything. So, I had to mash the control puck for a solid 10 seconds for the system to light up. For something in this price range - its unacceptable. Being connected to USB - razer should have been able to have a function that awakened the speakers for me when a USB connection becomes active.
Once I was able to get the sound dialed in and tweaked, music sound ok, and games too. But, my Bose companion 5 speakers from 2007 sounded better. Sadly they died.
It was a nice try razer, but this was a frustrating purchase almost from the start. There are better options in this price segment.

Premium Sound That Put a Smile on My Face

If I could give a one-word review, clean describes this product best, but this is so much more than one word. From the packaging, design of the product, quality of the sound, choices of connectivity and control, quality of lighting, clean had to have been a design element that made every checklist in developing this product.
Let’s state the obvious, these speakers are amazing. As mentioned, the sound is clean. There’s a balance to the desktop speakers that compliment crisp bass that comes from the subwoofer. I’m not an audiophile, so I’m not going to describe it in that way, but you can hear the full range of the music you’re listening to. The 3” speakers on the desk deliver amazing sound. You get most of your sound stage from these. I’m assuming the aluminum phase plugs that they advertise help with sound reflections in the speakers are likely the driving factor (pun intended) on the clean sound you get. What’s really impressive is switching live from stereo to spatial audio and instantly hearing how the sound changes to be more immersive. It’s like the sound is hugging you instead of just being present.
As a complement to the excellent 3” speakers is a 5.5” subwoofer. The downward firing design gives deep bass that fills the room but isn’t obnoxious or overpowering. You can balance the bass in the synapse app by lowering the bass if you want to be present but not the forefront, or max it out for deep bass you can feel. Being wireless, you move it to where it needs to be to get the best sound. I don’t notice any delay to the connectivity, and you get enough power cable you don’t feel tether to the wall.
I don’t usually mention packaging, but Razer does an amazing job making sure their products are packaged securely and using appropriate materials. The subwoofer came in a protective covering that prevented scratches while the 3” speakers had cardboard folded around them with foam coverings on the front of the speakers to protect the delicate driver membrane and also preventing unnecessary scratches. I think these details emphasize how much they care about the products they make and ship.
As for look and design, you’ll need to make some room on your desk for these. They’re a bit large, bordering on too big, but I think most people will find a spot for these. A compliment to the size is the fact the back has very bright diffused RGB dome on the back that project color on whatever is behind it. You can control how the RGB behaves using the Synapse app. Razer has a fairly robust RGB customization and there’s not much you can’t do with it, so no walls for customization of the color and effect you like. There’s not a ton to talk about in regards of the subwoofer. Once in place, it’s a black box under your desk. I believe it was somewhat intentional for it to blend into the background and do what it does by providing bass.
Connectivity and controlling the speakers are as easy as turning a dial. The remote control is a wireless dial that you can use to power on the speakers, control volume, and switch between devices. You can use it to connect to your other devices via Bluetooth. I love this because when I’m working off my laptop, I can switch to Bluetooth and play music off of my phone and press the multi-function button on the front to swap back to the PC mode. You can control media but pressing down on the dial to mute, double pressing to pause, and triple pressing to skip songs. You can double press the multi-function button and switch between audio EQs as well. There are several preset for movie or music but you can create your own as well. I have to give huge props to Razer for giving us a 10 point EQ slider with labels. There are so many products that have custom apps that if you get a slider at all, it’s bass, mid, and treble which is frustrating. Razer knows what’s up.
I would say if I was going to get picky about anything the dial itself could be a tad heavier so it’s less likely to move if it’s placed on a mouse pad which has a bit less friction. Also it being completely wireless is neat but there’s no option to connect it via USB if you didn’t want to replace batteries. I’m grasping at straws here to find room for improvement.
If you’re considering buying these, I think you’ll be impressed with the sound quality and features of these speakers, build quality, and how well it will complement your gaming setup. Being as they’re Bluetooth as well, you have versatility that other products may not offer. For me anyways, the sound quality really did make me smile.

I received my Razer – Nommo V2 4pc Gaming speakers a few weeks ago and I absolutely love them. They are far and away the best PC speakers I have ever owned. I only have one complaint Id like to get out of the way first. A common one I have with many items, please increase the font size in your instructions. Some of us gamers have been around for a while. Minor complaint but I was having an issue setting it up and the small silver print on black paper is aesthetically pleasing but hard to read. With that out of the way, I would like to sing the praises of these wonderful speakers.
Now that I have it set up the way I wanted I am so very happy. My sound defaults to my monitor speakers. This is my preference for most things during the day where I don’t care about audio quality and don’t want any extra bass. If I want to game or maybe watch a sporting event or anything else where sound really matter I just turn on the speakers (simply by pressing the puck shaped remote and bam! I have some amazing sound to hear and feel. The two main desktop speakers are very crisp and clear. They feel well built and I expect to last a long time. There is solid software available to tweak my levels and of course I can save settings and I can switch between them if so desired. The back of the speakers can even produce fun RGB colors to pulse with the sounds. The little puck shaped wireless (batteries included) volume dial is interesting and I have grown to really appreciate that feature. This makes is so easy to turn on and off, switch between PC and BT and to adjust the volume. Finally the subwoofer woofs. It’s a little smaller than the one I have hooked up to my TV but It pumps out the low tones every bit as strong that I can feel.
All in all, I am very pleased with these speakers. Incredible sound to hear and feel combined with the remote dial, the RGB colors and excellent software make this a solid 5* review for me. When it comes down to the question of would I recommend these to a friend? Like usual it comes down to budget, but if these speakers are in your price range, I would absolutely recommend them to a friend. Well done Razor!

I had the speakers running for a few months, but afterward the puck started blinking blue and white. I went through multiple troubleshooting sessions with Razer before they accepted that the product was defective.
The speakers completely stopped communicating with my PC and there was no way to use them. I was using the speakers for microsoft teams with a yeti pro which was a fantastic setup for my personal office. I'm disappointed at the quality of Razer products for how much they cost. I previously had a 2.1 klipsch setup that lasted for over a decade and this lasted only a few months
