Customers are satisfied with the sound quality, Bluetooth connectivity, ease of use, and design of the Nommo V2 X speakers. Many appreciate the volume and the ability to adjust the EQ using Razer Synapse. However, some customers feel the bass is slightly underwhelming and the speakers could be smaller. Others have noted the requirement for Razer software and the lack of RGB lighting and vertical adjustability.

If you are looking for a good THX Spatial audio 2.0 speakers, the Razer Nommo V2 X is a good option.
First, the unboxing experience was pretty fun, well packaged with foam and individually plastic wrapped.
The quality build is great and feels like you are getting a premium speaker. I don't know how I feel about USB connection only, where I was so used to 3.5mm connections. I'm no audiophile expert and if it makes a difference in audio quality.
Right out the box, the audio is a bit lacking. You must download the Razer Synapse software to have access with EQ settings and THX Spatial Audio, and also there's a firmware update for the speakers. I dislike this part of the process just another unnecessary steps in order to fully enjoy the speakers. If you have a small or medium sized room, these are perfect. It's not room filing but it satisfies me enough.
Moves, games and music is a great experience, especially with THX Spatial Audio. I highly suggest setting up your desired EQ settings or use the pre-loaded settings you can choose from. I think once you customized your EQ settings, then you can truly enjoy your speakers. I was fully immersed with my listening experience, but it kept me wanting more and thinking that a movie scene would have sounded better with a little more bass here and there. Games are also great, where you can, detect where footsteps are coming from. Again, it just left me wanting a little more. I guess that's why they have the V2 Pro.
I was upgrading from a Bose Companion 2 Series 3, and right out the box, the Bose is definitively better in Bass. Where the Nommo V2 X could probably have squeezed in a bit more. Especially at the price range of $150.
I think there's a lot of room for Razer to make improvements, especially for the 2.0 speaker department.
Overall, I am satisfied with the Razer Nommo V2 X. The price just doesn't make sense in my opinion. But, I'll still recommend it, especially if it goes on sale.

TL;DR, The Razer Nommo V2s for me at least, had a significant upgrade to the sound quality to what I was using and I am so happy with the clarity improvements, bass improvements, and "surround sound" improvements.
Long story long, these speakers made my PC listening experience so much better. Setup was super easy and simple. It needed power, a USB connection to your PC and a cord to the left speaker. Done. After a few, Razer Synapse pops up asking to be installed.
At first I opted out of the Razer Synapse software, I didn't see how it would enhance my experience, but installed it anyway a couple days later and there was a firmware update to the speakers. In addition to that there were some quality of life improvements with the software too. So I'm very glad I chose to install the software. I like the app specific sound profiles, pretty neat. The ability to swap audio devices by pressing both buttons on the speaker is also pretty neat, especially when I wanna wear my headsets instead and forget to switch it during gameplay. This is a super nice little feature that makes life so much easier.
There are some pre-existing sound profiles and to my ear, music sounds the best for well music lol. Offering the right amount of bass and vocal clarity for music. Using the Netflix app on Windows to test out surround and audio profiles, I found that Movie sounded the best, ironically for movies and shows however the differences were more subtle depending on the scene. For example in an anime, if there was no music playing I couldn’t really hear a difference unless I’m really trying to pick one out, and if there was an action scene, I felt like Movie gave me the most impact on the sound as well. And lastly while gaming, movie, music, and default sounded the best. The Gaming EQ preset was just not doing it for me.
I ran the same test again but with THX on and I don’t know why, but it sounds funky to me. In movies and games there’s some improvement, but for music, I just don’t like it. Ultimately though I left it on the Music with THX on because profile switching was inconvenient and it could cover most of what I wanted and creating automatic game and app/program profiles for specific content. So for Netflix, it uses the Movie profile, and for some games I care about it does too. But everything else defaults to the Music which is fine for me.
As for the build quality it’s great, I like the low profile of the speakers and how they’re upward facing, the feel nice and the rubber feet are quality and don’t slide around all over the place.
At the end of the day, these are fantastic for my use case and I highly recommend them to anyone.

The speaker is compact in size, making it easy to place on any desk or gaming setup. Despite its small footprint, it delivers impressive power and volume. The sound quality is clear and dynamic, enhancing the gaming experience with immersive audio. It handles both subtle in-game effects and booming action scenes with clarity and depth. This makes it a great choice for gamers who want high-quality sound without sacrificing space.

Pros: excellent sound quality and it has blutooth.
Cons: the speakers turn off if there isn’t sound being put through them. With my setup, its difficult to get to. Also there was a firmware update that did not want to work on my desktop, but i was able to force it through on my laptop.

These speakers are super easy to set up and use, look great, and sound great. One complaint: they're constantly shutting themselves off when they're not being used. That means, say, you're hammering away at a document for 45 minutes. Then turn to an audio app: you have to reach over to the speakers and press the on button. Annoying but not a deal breaker.

I'm a Razer fan boy so I may be a bit biased, but I feel like this is a very fair value for small, aesthetically pleasing speakers. They sound great, not only for their size but for the price point. They're not very "punchy" but small speakers typically aren't. As for the spatial audio, it's certainly better than most speakers in that regard but it won't ever replace a headset for competitive gaming. Minimal wires and great connectivity make this a good value in my opinion.

Absolutely large sound for desktop speakers. These speakers are great for the price. I use them mainly for my gaming PC and they sound great. Despite not having a subwoofer they have sufficient bass and overall offer clear sound.
The only thing is that they might be **too** loud -- I have to keep the volume down significantly.
They have two modes -- plugged in and bluetooth and switching between modes is just a button press (which is great when I want to switch between a laptop or a desktop or my phone).
Definitely a recommend from me.

These are great! The only dislike I have is that I have to turn them back on any time my computer goes to sleep. Aside from that they're fantastic, they sound great, the set up was relatively easy, and they have a pretty small footprint on my desk I'm glad I bought them!

I wanted a nice sound in a small form factor for my office I was replacing the pebble speakers I had. This hit it on the nose, it is decently loud with a rich sound for game play or movies. While not tiny they fit comfortably below my mounted monitors and link to the razer software which allows you to customize the sound.

The Razer Nommo V2 X delivers where it matters most—sound. The audio is crisp, immersive, and packs a surprisingly deep punch for its size. Perfect for PC gaming or casual music sessions, the directional sound is solid and clean even at higher volumes.
However, if you’re buying these for your PS5, think twice. The USB connectivity is a nightmare. It’s hit or miss, and when it does connect, it doesn’t always stay stable. No real plug-and-play experience here, which is disappointing for a setup that’s supposed to be console-friendly.
If you’re mainly gaming on PC, they’re a great pick. For PS5 users? Might want to look elsewhere or brace for some frustration.

Good sound quality. Probably a little overpriced for what they are (that’s the Razer tax) but the sound quality is great. They are a little larger than I expected so make sure you have some decent room on your desk.
