Good for gaming
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I first got the Pad it worked perfectly, one side for control the other for speed. The pillow on it was not really what I wanted it was more firm when I was looking for something not so firm so my arm could just lay off the table. Another thing is that after gaming with it for a while on the side with better control it started having some dead spots where the mouse would just stop working when went over them, not really sure if mouse fault or pad fault, and it also doesn't get in the way to much but it's still annoying.

A quality pad for a decent price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using this pad for a year now and decided it was time to give a full run down of how this item meets and exceeds many expectations. I am a gamer, I play on average 20-30 hrs per week on the PC sometimes more. I use this pad for everything from MMORPGs to FPS games. I use it coupled with a Razer Naga. The surface itself is very accurate and flawless in its production, both sides delivered on their respective qualities to a maximum. The pad was a comfortable and I found the traction that it had to stay put on the desk was very good, there was no sliding around or movement from it of any kind. It was very reasonably priced for what you got, the last traction surface pad I got was years ago from with my old Alienware and it was far more expensive of an addition. Now on to the one bad thing, longevity. I can not describe this issue as a durability issue because it lasts within the lifespan of an adequate use table for this accessory(even though my last hard surface mat lasted almost 10 years). However even as picky as I am about keeping my space free of crumbs and debris, even flakes of skin and ensuring that my mouse feet were in good condition it has begun to show signs of aging and has begun to wear down in the middle area and does have a few minor scratches. So far it has not directly effected performance. The other longevity issue is that when I was using it without the pad/wrist rest I had rested my wrist on the surface itself and where I had done that the surface adhesive has begun to fail and the surface has begun to peel up from the backing. Other than those two minor issues I have had no trouble with it and the second is "normal" use as the device comes with rubber feet to use without the wrist rest. Still a good buy for the money, but I think I would invest in their newest offering, the Ironclad.

So-What
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: It is both sided so I literally can use both side and in addition to that, there is a hand wrist. Both side, one for presision and the other for timing; this is great for FPS and other uses like photo-shopping. It is slip resistant Cons: It is really easy to be scratched with intense use of the mouse and especially when the mouse has a low foot pad. It is really big so unless you are playing on a table space area, then it will be crowded. Others: I would prefer a cloth mouse pad compared to this but it is still good.

For Gamers and non-gamers! Means, for Everybody!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I think it's the best mouse pad all times. Why, just because it's so flexible to the things you want to do. If you want a wrist pad, use the base that holds the wrist pad, if not just use the hard, sturdy mouse pad which is dual sided. One side is smooth for fast mouse movement and the other side is a little bit rougher for control.

Great
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the option for speed or control and the wrist pad is comfortable. The pad itself is large so you don't have to worry about going off the edge during intense gameplay.

Look at Customer Pics!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a great mouse pad, but I have to knock off one star because the pictures are a little misleading. If you - like me - prefer your electronics and accessories to be black, then this will look great... until you get it and realize that the pad is actually light grey. Probably not a big deal for many, or most, but if you care about aesthetics, and purchase based on the pictures, then you might feel a bit disappointed - perhaps even misled. Otherwise, good mouse pad!

Wears down mouse pads
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this mouse pad for the last six months.. Was fine in the beginning, felt great. But the problem about this mouse pad is that it's plastic.. So it wore down the mouse to the point the mouse pads were gone. I should have stayed on the kabuto

Good mousepad but the wrist rest takes some time
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the Razer Destructor before buying this mousepad. I had high expectations for the Vespula because it has two sides and a wrist rest and it looks great. When I first started using this mousepad the wrist rest forced me to lift my wrist up and it felt awkward when playing games. After a week I got used to it. It was pretty good until i compared it to the destructor. The destructor's surface is very smooth compared to the Vespula's control side. But, the speed side is very, very smooth. I actually thought that the speed side would suck but its not that bad. TL;DR- Okay mousepad, wrist rest takes time to get used to, good speed side, I'd reccomend the Destructor instead.

There is better
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a Razer Keyboard, Headset, Mouse and nostromo. Very loyal to Razer and love the products they offer. BUT, I would recommend a different mouse pad. This is made of a smooth hard plastic composite on one side and a little rougher on the other side. I use the smooth side for precision shooting games and playing some WoW. Loved at first, but after about a month of use the actual pad started getting worn with micro-scopic abbrasions, scratches and such. Makes it hard to be precise with mouse movements if your mouse hits one of these spots and spazes out. Buying a new Razer pad, cloth one this time.

Great for gamers
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for my husband as he is an avid gamer. He loves it. It is comfortable for his wrist and provides the space and speed he needs for his mouse.

Great mousepad
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a quite expensive for a mouse pad, but it is worth the extra in my opinion. The fact that this is a hard pad, that can easily be cleaned and works well even if the surface is not the most even makes it worth the premium over cloth pads. Excellent on the go pad on top of being a great dedicated gaming mouse pad.

Super comfy Long life
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Compared to most other mouse pads, this held up very well against the goliathus and the ratpadz. Well constructed and fluid mouse movements

Don't expect it to last
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The logo on the wrist rest almost immediately started peeling and rubbed off. After a month, the covering on the wrist rest started peeling up as well. Razer's support is abysmal. I suggested a new support article for them. 1. Search for a phone number. You won't find one. 2. Submit an e-mail through a form. 3. Wait a day or more. 4. Respond to their request for pictures. 5. Wait a day or more. 6. Provide all your personal information and the receipt 7. Wait a day or more. 8. Receive a reply that your request is being forwarded to another team. 9. Wait a day or more. 10. Finally have an RMA generated. 11. Expect to ship the defective product back at your cost, regardless of its initial cost or size. 12. Wait for the defective product to be received. 13. Wait for the defective product to be inspected. 14. Wait for a replacement to be shipped. Please expect to go without a substitute for the defective product for steps 11-14, which will most likely take two weeks.
