Win More Games Fast with This Badboy Razer Mouse!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first 8kHz wired mouse ever and wow I'm so impressed with how fast it is on my PC and it helped my stutter and laggy in the game I was playing, Insurgency Sandstorm. I found out that with wireless Razer mouse I was using, caused a lot of stutter and FPS drop. With this bad boy 8k, I can feel the difference and I feel like I gained about 20 to 30 FPS with no stutter or laggy at all! I highly recommend this mouse for gaming only if you want to improve your aim and have smoother feel in the games. You should buy this rather than any other Razer mouses that don't have 8kHz capability. Right now I have another wireless Razer mouse but I'm using it for other than games. Trust me, you'll want this mouse and I know it's wired but you can hide the wire or even use Razer Mouse Bungee (optional) to keep the wire out of the way when gaming. Also I installed the Viper grip tapes which improve my grip on the mouse. Also it's better than Viper Ulimate in general (buttons, clicks, mouse feet, obviously 8kHZ!)

best overall mouse for left handed
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.fantastic feel both with left and right handed operation. I have a big hand so the rubber grips really help. Use it for both work from home and for gaming. The only thing annoying is constant push to install the software that baked into the mouse.

Next gen mouse
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Mouse is good and feels like it's made of exceptional material. 8k sensor works great but I think it causes problems when trying to move windows between monitors. Cable is very thick and tough. You must like claw grip to use this mouse though. Had to return do to it hurting my wrist.

Great mouse for software engineer
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this mouse! I'm a professional programmer (30 years), not much a gamer, but it seems to have the perfect weight, shape, tracking ability, and button feel for me. The slowly-changing LED logo colors are pleasant, and not distracting. I have not installed the Razer custom software that it wants me to, but it still works perfectly fine with the default Windows drivers. This mouse tracks SO much better than my old Microsoft mouse. I can use it on table surfaces that I wasn't able to before. I was pleasantly surprised by both the layout of the friction slides on the bottom, and the material they used for the cable. Both seem more durable than most mice. I would have liked to test the feel of the "mini" version of this mouse, too, but they didn't have any on display at the moment. Very happy with my selection.

It's ok...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The mouse is really nice, and the 8k polling rate is amazing; however, not much supports it. Also, about 6 months after purchase the scroll wheel click is now finicky.

Highly responsive
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very responsive mouse. Its so fast it was dropping frames of the gameplay, so I had to adjust the speed. It doesn’t have any extra buttons or unnecessary additions, a simple mouse on X-Games mode.

BUY THIS NOW!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Don't listen to the bad reviews. This mouse is priced just as the non 8k version was since it has taken its place. The weight is great and for someone with large hands and claw grip it works perfectly. Replaced my lachesis/death adder with this.

good worth the price
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.overall a good mouse i upgraded from the viper ultimate, and the feet are better on the 8k but the scroll wheel was better on the ultimate its smoother in games but i don't feel a advantage over a 1k mouse. also ive had no issues in games like some others have.

Great Mouse for Gaming/Video editing/Mixing
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I honestly wasnt in the market for a new mouse, but an ad on facebook for another mouse lead me down the rabbit hole and I ended up with the viper 8k. It was on sale and had good reviews so I got it. I was using a $12 amazing mouse for years before this one. You can customize your DPI settings and switch profiles with the button on the bottom and I love the 4 extra buttons on the mouse (2 on each side). It feels good in the hand and the right and left click are great along with the mouse wheel. I mainly play FPS games which is is awesome for. I also video edit and mix and master music and it works well for that too. Overall its a great mouse.

What can I say, it's a great mouse for lefties
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As a lefty, we don't have too many options when it comes to left handed mouses. I tried the CORSAIR M55 mouse and it was fine but felt a little too "big" for my hand. Bought the Razer Viper to compare and instantly loved it more than the M55 because it fits more comfortable in my hand. Both are great mouses and I would suggest you try both to see which one you like better. However, the CORSAIR's side buttons do feel "clickier" while the Razer's feel "mushier". Not a deal breaker in my opinion

Razer 8k Needs some minor tweaks to be the best
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really have a sensitivity to refresh rate and response time so when i seen another item that may reduce some input lag, i hopped on it. i really liked it when i got it to actually work. After reading some forums i found out that you have to shut down any program or application in the back ground that's not necessary for windows 10 to function to get the stutters to go away especially radeon based programs and overlays. Another problem i ran into that wasnt a big deal because you can make game specific profiles is that some games just stutter and need a game side fix to use precision mouse input to work.

Razer Viper 8KHz Review
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I could only give this a 4 out of 5 stars only because they need to make a wireless version of this 8kHz mouse, and I'm NOT talking about the Viper Pro. The secret sauce is the 8KHz. the tracking is insane i just wish it was wireless and a little taller and it would be my main mouse over the Logitech G Pro Superlight. Great build quality and the mouse buttons on the right side I use alot while playing even though i press then with my ring finger/pinky. All in all if you want the best wired mouse... this is it. best budget wireless mouse... Glorious Model O Wireless. Best mouse out there... Logitech G Pro Superlight.

Great mouse
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The 8 khz polling is no joke. The cable is very stiff though. Even with a mouse Bungee it took a bit for it to unkink. Got the mouse for $59.99 during a sale for MyBestBuy members.

||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not used yet. But it is very light and handy I am used to Logitech G402 and G502 so it’s kind of new for me to get used to it. But it’s very handy.

Too techy and not wireless
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought to test out a "gamer" mouse to replace a regular cheap mouse. I had already gotten used to wireless, which has more freedom, but that aside, the only other issue I had with the old mouse was a wasting away roller butting on top, which I am yet to see how long this gamer mouse will last. In general, gaming feels the same. Only difference is several extra customizable buttons in awkward areas, and speed of movement adjusting with downloadable software. In my opinion, to much complicated tech and customization for a mouse, as well as excessive programs and syncing. Pro's: I am sure heavier gamers and the techier could give great use to all the features.

Razer Viper 8K mouse
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The mouse is very easy to set up. After installing the software, switching the options a snap. If the software can was included with the mouse, would make it better.

20k DPI requires software installation
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.pro: both hands. high polling rate, glass gliding feel. con: 20k DPI requires software installation, not easy on macbook. Without installation, it only provides 8k (or 6k?) DPI.
