So this may be hard to explain but when I was using the gen 1 superlight it worked well but the longer I used it the more it felt like I was missing shots I shouldn't. When the pads wore on the bottom I decided to try something new. You'll notice the difference on your first gaming if coming from a lower polling rate mouse.

This mouse is good at *almost* everything.
I'm not entirely sure why it says 95 hours of battery life because the mouse only lasts two days max if you have it set to 8k polling.
For the last 5 years i've used nothing but the superlight. I decided to switch it up after hearing how they changed the shape of the viper with this version. I immediately fell in love with it on the first use. Sometimes the 8k polling is an issue in games and is actually too fast to the point where it lags the game. Also the battery life is possibly the worst i've seen in a gaming mouse. My superlight needed charged maybe once every two weeks and this needs to be charged every other day. To be fair, the superlight only ran at 4k polling while this is 8k.
