Solid option to Elite Series 2

Compared to the Xbox Elite Series 2 controller that I had before I do appreciate the built in bumper buttons on the back. They won't be as susceptible to wear and tear that way. Unfortunately it does not have Bluetooth support but the app is solid. I don't think I like the clicky face buttons as much as standard mushy ones, must just be from years of using them. Overall solid product and I do find use for the two extra shoulder buttons on top. Ofc the hall effect sticks give peace of mind, albeit they were not centered exactlty 0,0 in the software, but I did not do any updates.

Easily my favorite controller I've gotten. Cruds on elite controllers. I've bought two elites now and they both started drifting so early I never dropped the second one. Razer's interface for PC is wild too A+

Best Pro Controller on the Market

By far the best pro controller on the market. I say that, having had the scuf instinct and the elite series 2 controllers. Ive had quality issues with both the elites (ive had 2 the core and the series 2) and the scuf instinct pro. Everytime i have had a razer controller i have LOVED them, only complaint was that i couldnt get a pro controller in a wireless version. Well this solved that issue. ONLY con i have is that the charging light shuts off after a few seconds, and there is no way to tell when the controller is fully charged or still charging. Its a minor issue but hopefully it can be fixed with a firmware update. All in all, if your going to spend money on a pro controller, pay a little extra and get this wolverine v3 pro from Razer. If you dont, i can almost assure you, after 8-9 months to a year, you will be in the marker again for a new controller. I will be sticking with only Razer accessories for my Xbox in the future.

Great controller good tactile buttons im using it on pc and I havent had any issues with stick drift yet only had it for a month and a half. It is expensive though id only reccomend if you do a lot of gaming with shooters that constantly use the sticks.

Before this controller I had the Elite and absolutely loves it! The only issue was the parts felt cheap and were. I went through 2 within a year. After going through my second one that soon decided to try this controller. I will never go back!! The Wolverine feels a little smaller in my hands compared to the Elite bit the weight feels close to the same but the parts feel so much better! You can tell they did not go cheap! I absolutely love this controller!

    My nee favorite controller

I’ve tried a lot of pro controllers. From the scuff envision pro to the elite series one, two, and core controllers, and by far this is my favorite of them all. I love the hall effects joysticks that make stick drift a thing of the past, and the mouse click triggers, bumpers, back buttons, and d-pad along with the membrane switches in the face buttons make the controller feel premium. The only thing I have against it is that it is a little small in my hands compared to the controllers mentioned earlier and the standard xbix controller, but if thats something your worried about dont be. I’m 6’2” and 200lbs, and still love the feel of it after getting used to it now that I have probably over 25 hours of gaming done with the controller.

I was slightly hesitant on buying this controller but I needed one since my previous one broke. So I decided to buy this and it’s become one off favorite controllers I’ve owned. I love turtle beach products and this one is no different, very well built and a decent battery life to it. Would highly recommend buying if you love turtle beach products. Note: the back buttons made me hesitant but after getting used to them they’re great! And I love the buttons on the top as well

Overall, it's a very nice controller. The face buttons and the triggers are excellent and the back buttons are a huge improvement over the previous wolverines. However, if you're used to holding a normal Xbox controller this controller might seem uncomfortable, especially at first. The handles are much shorter than on an Xbox controller so it's definitely going to take getting used to and is not really suited for long casual games.

The Best & Most Reliable Xbox Controller

Very well made controller with all needed accessories. The mouse click-buttons are surprisingly EXTREMELY nice and tactile! Going from an elite series 2 this is a night and day difference and I can never go back to my elite 2 after using this amazing controller. Hall effect sticks are nice and accurate (make sure to firmware update it to latest with a computer) and the including replacement stick caps are the exact kind I prefer for my sticks (a short domed for the left and a tall concave for the right). If you’re in the fence about getting this controller and maybe have concerns about its shape and feel like I did then I’d say go for it! As with anything new and different it takes some time to get used to and once you do it’s phenomenal.

The Good: Great build quality. Hall effect sticks are awesome. The Medium: Swappable thumbsticks are great, but there's no way to order replacements. Software configuration is simultaneously convoluted and over-simplified...it's not a great experience. The Ugly: Battery life is horrid. 3-4 hours max in most cases. I expected better from a device at this price point.

Needed a new Xbox controller to replace my aging Elite Series 2 that developed stick drift. The Wolverine V3 was in the top 2 of a very short list. Definitely a nice product but the rear button placement killed it for me. The controller is smaller than the Elite Series 2 andI would constantly hit all 4 back buttons whenever playing. The layout just doesnt work with howcI hold a controller. The only way to prevent that would be to deactivate the rear buttons which makes buying a pro controller pointless. Too bad they dont have display units out in the store so you can try before purchasing

Honestly, I’m a die hard razer fan. I know they get a lot of hate, but they got a lot of praise too, and both are well deserves in their respects. As far as this premium controler goes, it far exceeds my expectations compared to the other $200 controllers on the market. I will never again have to use an xbox controller thank god, the loose spongeyness of those buttons and rubber banded feeling in the triggers irks me. The razer wolverine is pretty comfortable in the hand, very high quality, and the tactile feedback and built in programable buttons are amazing. The fact that it also has built in haptic feedback and super nice carrying case just blows me out of the water. I dont think I’ll ever switch from this controller

I was on the fence about spending this much on a controller, but I’ve never been disappointed by Razer’s quality. And I still haven’t been. This controller is superb. The Hall effect sticks, mouse-like buttons and overall build quality have left me with zero regrets on the purchase. Updating the firmware and customization are easy both on PC or through Razer’s Xbox app, and thus far, the only minor inconvenience is the need to open the app to view the controller’s battery life (which to be completely fair isn’t that big of a deal). If you’re on the fence like I was and you’re looking for a premium controller, this is the one.

So far this controller seems great! It’s very well made and the mouse click buttons are a nice touch. It’s not the most comfortable controller I’ve used but it’s not the most uncomfortable either. In the past, I’ve only bought Microsoft controllers and had nothing but issues with them. I’ve bought several elites and have had to send them off for repair many times only to come back with more issues. I think I have finally found my alternative to Microsoft. I’m happy to say I never have to buy another Microsoft controller again. Microsoft, because of your terrible controllers and incompetent repair center. You have lost a customer for life.

First and foremost have been using the elite controllers since their inception and swear by them. I never rewlly liked any other third party controller. The V2 Wolverine had weird rear buttons and had to be wired to xbox to work. But this just might be the best controller you can get on Xbox. Its extremely nice. It has mechanical button clicks and perfect rear button placement. There is a Razer app on the xbox that lets you manage the button customization. This controller has Hall Effect buttons and they are amazing. They take some getting used too but once you get the hang of them they are better than the Elite controller. I highly recommend anyone looking for a really good xbox controller with Hall Effect analogue sticks and might be skeptical on Elite controller durability.
