Great PC gaming controller, Razer software is still iffy. Controller itself is great. Feels good in hand, nice clicky buttons, triggers that can be switched to button mode for instant pulls, 6 programmable buttons and the best pair of TMR sticks I've used on a controller so far. Controller is really light, other lightweight controllers have felt cheap to me but this feels good. Two main downsides IMO. Razer software is iffy, used it for 15 years and this is probably the second device it gets weird about remembering settings for me. Not frequently but annoying when you go to play and find the programmed buttons you've used for the last few weeks need to be reprogrammed. Other thing is no rumble, personally not a problem but I can see people ruling the wolverine v3 out just for that. Considered the wireless version, but I sit by my PC and 10 hour battery life is a joke to me for another $80. Would probably go out and immediately buy the wireless version though if it had a 20+ hour battery

The Wolverine V3 Tournament Edition 8K Wired Gaming Controller with TMR Thumbsticks is a must have if you are looking for your next controller. I’ve tried other brands and I keep coming back for Razer branded controllers whether it’s for my PC or consoles. With Razer you get a quality built controller with a rich feature set. In the box the Razer V3 tournament edition comes with a nice braided cable and two extra thumb sticks (short and tall) and the controller itself. The overall build quality is great. The controller has a nice texture to it. Compared to my Razer V2 Chroma controller this is a lot lighter which is great for those long gaming sessions. I’m also in love with the clicky buttons on this controller and can’t go back to the standard mushy feeling of buttons you get with other brands. The Wolverine V3 Tournament features 8k hyperpolling technology which results in a responsive feedback. Swappable TMR thumbsticks. On the underside of the controller you get four mouse click back buttons and two claw grip numbers. Triggers are also nice and feature mouse click. Overall this is my go to brand for controllers and this model is exceptionally good for my gaming needs.

The Razer Wolverine V3 Tournament Edition 8K Wired is one of those controllers that just feels like a steal for what you get. The buttons are crisp, the sticks feel solid, and the 8K polling makes inputs feel unbelievably responsive—like every flick and press actually registers the way you expect. Build quality punches way above its price, and the customization options are genuinely useful. For the cost, you’re getting serious performance without compromise—no gimmicks, just a controller that performs.

W controller, 8000hz polling as advertised w/ 3rd party testing software, finally a d-pad that is tactile and not membrane, everything else is tactile, and it's the lightest controller i've held w/o no creaks when i put excessive force on it MY ONLY GRIPE the wireless/wired $200 version comes with a carrying case, while the TE edition does not AND U CANT BUY THE CASE

I’ve used this controller for a few weeks now. It feels really responsive. I noticed that all the buttons click, kind of like a mouse. If you lock the triggers they also actuate like a mouse. There isn’t a bunch of flashy lights and nonsense. Its purpose is to focus on the experience, in game.

Amazing controller that out-performs many pro controllers! Responsive, lots of extra buttons, plus the TMR sticks make this controller a must-have for competitive play. When not using instant triggers, the triggers feel like butter. I do wish Razer hadn't dampened the clicky face buttons with a membrane, though.

If your a FPS person, i dont see how you would go any other direction. Pullion rate is fast, up to 8k. Make sure you have a graphics card that can handle the 8k. From my research the minimum requirement was 4080 super. Dont quote me on that. Back button perfectly placed. Nice clickly face buttons, i dont care for them though. Over its a great controller, dont see the benefit of paying another 100 for wireless.

This wired controller has been solid from day one. The connection is stable with zero input lag, which is exactly what I want when playing competitive games. Not having to worry about battery life is a huge plus, especially during long sessions. The buttons feel responsive and consistent, and the thumbsticks move smoothly without feeling loose. The controller is comfortable to hold, even after hours of gaming. It feels durable and well-made for the price. Setup was quick and easy just plug it in and it works. Overall, this is a dependable controller that delivers great performance without any hassle. Definitely a good option if you prefer wired over wireless.

I've owned the Xbox Elite Series 2, Dual Sense Edge, a DIY Extremerate customized Dual Sense (4 back buttons), and this Razer Wolverine v3 TE 8K is my favorite out of all those controllers. I mostly play using all of the extra buttons (4 back buttons and 2 extra bumpers) so I never have to take my thumbs off the thumbstick while playing Apex Legends. I get comments often from other controller players saying that my movement seems effortless during hectic fights. This controller changed the game for me. There are certainly more budget friendly pro controllers, but none offer the same amount of extra remappable buttons or the perfect placement of those extra buttons.

OK, so these have a 8K pooling rate. Which is some of the highest rating you can currently find on a controller. Meaning the response time is much faster than your normal controller. Now this helps in FPS games, but there is a small cavity I have with these. That is the analog for aiming is a little too loose in a sense where it does not have a great stick ratio. Even after adjusting them in game, they unfortunately still have a slightly loose reaction to movement. Therefore, I would rate these good because of the input latency, but keep in mind you will lose out very slightly on the accuracy compared to a PS5 pro controller.

This controller is ideal for any competitive gamers. Mouth clicking buttons are nice and only wish you can adjust tension on joysticks but other than that it’s a great controller

Pros: 1. Light weight. No battery no rumble, make it more comfortable for long hours of competitive gaming. Some people will say it feels cheap, and it does, but it is the point of the controller. 2. Straight up the best back paddles of any controller I have ever used. They sit right where your fingers are. 3. Great joysticks. No stick drift issues so far. Sticks feel great. 4. Shape and size. Overall feels really good in the hands. Cons: 1. Not as grippy as I'd like. If your hands get sweaty then you might have grip issues. No rubber grips, it's all plastic. 2. Buttons are pretty mid. Better than stock controllers but not as good as some other controllers. They use a mechanical switch yet still kind of make them feel like a dome button. Overall I think decent for the price. This controller is targeted toward competitive gamers and lacks some of the bells and whistles found on other controllers. But it's a solid well performing controller that could use better grips.

Software was easy to setup and use. Controller is super light and mostly comfortable. The plastic can feel a bit rough compared to controllers with rubber grips but my hands dont get nearly as sweaty on this. Only wish it worked on my nvidia shield and mac too, since I like using geforce now from time to time.

I was skeptical about dropping over a hundred dollars on a controller, as similar controllers with similar specs were on the market for competitive prices. I was hesitant but what a great decision it proved to be. Some have called it lightweight but I think that is really a bit of an undersell. It feels so well constructed and effortless to use for hours at a time. As someone who always leans for a controller when gaming you are going to want one that works with you like this one does. I do occasionally hit the back buttons on the back but unless programmed, they won't interfere with inputs so it's a non-issue. And the only other disclaimers I would put is that the USB is not as long as I would have anticipated but is very well constructed. It also requires the use of software, so it's not entirely plug and play but it took like five minutes to get set up. 9/10 Just would have liked more color options and a longer usb cable
