I got this for my five year old as a Christmas present, but I already put it together and took it for a test drive down memory lane. Razor scooters are classic, fun, and this was cheap as a daily deal. It folds up really nicely too.

This item is shipped in its origianl packaging therefore there is a chance it will get damaged during shipping. Most of the box was destroyed on mine but thankfully the product was intact and not damaged.

The Razor A Kick Scooter is a classic for a reason, and if you're looking for a kid's scooter, this is the one to get. I bought the red one, and it's fantastic for my 7-year-old. It's incredibly light because of the aluminum frame, which makes it super easy for them to carry or maneuver around corners. The folding mechanism is simple—it genuinely makes storage and tossing it in the trunk a non-issue. It gives a surprisingly smooth ride thanks to those urethane wheels, and my kid loves how quickly they can zoom around the neighborhood. It's also adjustable, which means it grows with them and we won't need to replace it next year. While some people debate the small wheel size, for cruising the sidewalk and learning balance, it’s perfect and intuitive. It's built tough, too; this thing can definitely handle typical kid abuse. If you want a fun, durable, and iconic starter scooter, this is a solid investment.

This is the 2nd Razor A Kick Scooter that I have purchased. I really like this kick scooter for its sleek design and smooth ride. The first one I bought it for my elder one almost 5 years ago and this one i bought it from my younger one. Pros: 1. Lightweight Design & Portability - This Kick Scooter is made from aircraft-grade aluminum. The kick scooter really feels so light. It weighs only 4.62 lbs and that make it very easy to carry even for the kids. 2. Compact: The scooter has a foldable design, which makes it easy to fold and carry it anywhere. 3. Adjustable Handlebars: The handle bars are adjustable, allowing us to adjust the height based on kid's height. 4. Performance - The wheels are made pit of Urethane which provides a smooth ride on a variety of surfaces. Despite being smaller in size the shock absorption is good. 5. Brakes: It has the rear fender brake, which is helpful to stop the scooter by applying a little foot pressure. 6. Stability: The scooter is stable especially for beginners. Cons 1. Please note that since the wheels are smaller wheels the scooter is not ideal for uneven surface. Kids have to be careful especially on the uneven surfaces to avoid the fall. 2. Since it is designed to handle rider weights of up to 143 lbs it may not be suitable for teenagers or bigger kids or adults. 3. Sometimes when carrying the scooter (without folding it) the scooter if accidentally hits the shins it might be very painful. Final Verdict Overall, the Razor A Kick Scooter is a solid, entry-level option for kids and teens under 143 lbs to ride on smooth surfaces. It’s affordable and it is great value for the price. However this will not suit bigger kids or adults due to weight limitation and smaller wheels means it will not be suitable or safe to ride on uneven surfaces.

We had an older razor that no longer folds so when this one went on sale I grabbed one. Quality is great and kids like it.
