Yes, this monster is very loud and I’m sure if you have neighbors they’ll hear it whenever they are outside.

Supposed to be 8000 btu can you replace it? It’s not working correctly I’ve had many air conditioners in my life this one is not living up to my expectations

Quietly cool
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm not able to go out and shop so I bought this online and had it delivered. I had my fingers crossed since I had no idea what to expect. Well I am very glad I chose this model. I have it in an area about 300 sq ft, it's made to cool slightly larger area but I live in Hawaii and the room gets full sun all afternoon. Well it does the job well and when the compressor cycles on and off I can't hear it, actually had to check to see if it was. My only regret is I need a smaller one for another room but can't find a version of this for a 150 sq ft room.

I now don't have to buy an additional one. All air conditioners are noisy but it's a soothing sound but only on high. The remote works from a room away. Very happy with this accident.
