I guess it's all about managing expectations... I assumed this would literally pick up all the channels within the stated radius, however it only picked up 2 of the network channels after patiently trying small adjustments at different times of the day. I tried it in several different locations in 2 different houses - same result. I also tried the Leaf, however, and it picked up none, so I guess this was better!

Purchased this TV antenna as I just cancelled cable service. This product offer excellent reception range - doesn't take up a lot of space - and is really inexpensive.

This antenna picks up the three major stations in my area and only looks fuzzy occasionally. A higher rating would've been given if it could have reached my PBS station 60 miles away, as was advertised on the box.

I live in NW Indiana and had trouble getting a couple over the air stations to come in. I do not have an antenna on my roof and was using a simple rabbit ears for over the air stations. The regular antenna had trouble but this amplified antenna helped get reception on the lower signal strength broadcast stations. Easy set up. A little pricey but I waited for it to go on sale.

Rabbit ears for the new tech society. Hook up is easy, picture is crisper, but still get a bit pixelated when someone walks by it. I use it in the bedroom. Don't have cable or disc, just get regular channels and more.

I was looking to watch TV and didn't need to pay for stations I can get free without a having to pay for service for the amount of TV I view. So I heard about this free over the air TV that only required a for lack of a better term Rabbit Airs. So I figured why not give it a go and I currently get about 25 station. I was amazed how crystal clear the picture was. I say its better than most Digital TV providers that charge a monthly fee and I love all the old programs I watched as a kid growing up. Not all the reality programs on now.

Overall, I love my purchase. I bought this item, ANT 1251 and also bought the ANT 1400 since I had 2 TVs. I took the ANT 1400 back and bought a second ANT 1251. Much, much better. There are times I can't get CBS, but take the good with the bad since I'm saving $100 a month on satellite. The antenna wasn't any problem to hook up, selected the auto-program on my TV menu and it picked up the digital channels available to me. That's it. Picture quality is more than I ever hoped for. Very happy with this item!

Love this! It picks up a lot of channels and they are clear with a solid connection. I could live without cable/satellite using this and be perfectly fine.

Just got my mother a flat screen TV, and she doesn't want cable, so I got her this digital antenna. She gets a lot of TV stations free and crystal clear. Having just one remote for her to use is a plus, too.

I get over 60 channels on my tv all with a great picture & sound! Can't believe I waited so long to ditch Comcast ...the only channel I don't get is NBC... Can't figure out if this is because of the antenna or NBC...that's why I'm only giving 4 stars.

This antenna works well, but I guess my expectations were too high. A lot of channels go on and off from lost signal. I thought the power booster would prevent a lot of that. The price was pretty good though

I purchased this so I could get rid of cable. I'm somewhat happy with it, however I would not recommend purchasing this antenna. After using it for a week and constantly loosing reception I purchased an outdoor HD antenna from Amazon. I haven't had a single problem with it. As far as the RCA - Amplified Indoor Off-Air HDTV Antenna I would not recommend buying this product.

I live about 22 miles from downtown Chicago. I can get nearly all of the stations without using the amplifier. Occasionally, I do need the amplifier on to get some of the lower numbered channels. Great value - about the price of a months OTA cable.

The picture is great. I'm getting more channels that I thought I would. I still have my satellite for now and there are times when it goes out due to weather , but the antenna works fine.

This is a great cheap way to pick up the free TV channels in your area. We live in a more rural area and were able to get 13 channels right the first night we brought it home. The next day some were not coming in quite as well. I've noticed that weather can play a role - probably has to do with my distance from the broadcast towers. Also, you will need to move it around some to find the best position for reception - and that position sometimes seems to change. Still, works if you are looking for free TV and can deal with the antenna in a weird position.

I tried the flat omnidirectional RCA antenna and got spotty reception for local channels (ABC, NBC, FOX). I upgraded to this amplified antenna and got less drop outs. It wasn't that much more expensive then the non-amplified antenna.

I bought this for my small office TV. I have never had a problem with this and I use it in my basement office. It worked so well that I purchased another one for my wife's office TV. Good antenna that won't break your bank.

This is the second antenna we've purchased. Amplified Indoor Off-Air HDTV Antenna was affordable and easy to set up. We received help from the Best Buy staff to address a challenge with our older TV. Works fine now.
