Amazing reception from a small box

When Superstorm Sandy knocked out my cable tv reception I picked up this amplified digital antenna. Its small and simple to set up. As soon as I started scanning channels with it, they started popping up one after another. I live a little more than a half hour's drive north of New York City in an area full of hills, but I was able to pick up 34 channels and they were every bit as clear and sharp as cable tv. We were all very impressed to be able to see the news of what was happening in such vivid clarity during this disaster. I had heard bad stories from neighbors who had purchased regular digital antennas that failed to pull in the major stations. This did that and just about every minor one too. The fact that it is amplified made all the difference.
If you are looking for a reasonably priced antenna with incredible reception, this is it!!!

I think that overall this is good. The built in chord is good as it advertises a better connection because of it. However, the chord is not super long and with the way my situation is set up I need a splitter and another chord to get the antennae in a better location (by a window, hopefully that is better). HD channels come in nice but they kick off from time to time. I think once I figure out a good place for it it will only make things better.

Don't know much about antennas but it works good 95% of the time. If you walk in a certain place in the room, a plane or helicopter flys over, the picture breaks up and/or freezes for a few seconds. I'm not sure if that's average or not. I'm used to cable. #1st time antenna user

This device works for free tv, and I do get about eight channels. But it it's like the old radio antennas, if you hold the antenna reception is great, walk away and not as good.

I live in a 1st floor high-rise in the middle of the city, where there is little to no reception. I did NOT want a cable contract. The sales associates at BB thought this would do the trick, as it also plugs in to an electric outlet. They had bought this more expensive product themselves. It did bring in the reception in a better fashion immediately. I only watch TV occasionally. All 3 major networks come in...but not the PBS (local or national).

We bought this antenna when my wife found it on sale on bestbuy.com. We had just dumped cable and were looking for a way to watch local channels. This, along with a Roku3 and a DVR and we're watching the same shows on our schedule while saving over $1300 per year. And the picture is as good as it was with digital cable. Sometimes there's some skipping and freezing if the signal us weak, but that's not the antenna's fault. Very happy!!!

The RCA Antenna does the job. It works fine for the purpose we bought it for. It cost $25.00, but the $10.00 store brand we bought for the bedroom TV works just as well also.

This antenna works great. The only time reception is sporadic is when there is bad weather or its windy. I can get good reception when it is located away from a window too.

It can set on stand behind TV. Have to turn it sometimes for some stations, but usually works well. Sometimes maybe the weather affects it but usually turning it will help.

I would recommend this antenna, although it does requires adjusting from time to time, and does lose the signal occasionally, it's not bad, and
much cheaper than directv.

I got 10 more channels then I had with my last antenna. Picture and sound quality is just as good as cable without the bill.

This little antenna picks up a lot more channel's than we thought it would. Much better than paying a huge cable bill!

Good Picture When it Works...Which Is Inconsistent

The picture is better than expected for an antennae. However, some basic channels like CBS do not come in unless I change the position of the entire unit and re-run the channel scan. And unless the "ears" are positioned well, the picture is sometimes choppy/
