Not what I thought
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We bought two antennas. This one and a less expensive unit. Of the two the cheaper one seems to work better. Although the RCA comes with a power boost and "rabbit ears" the overall reception is disappointing. we have constantly fiddle with the rabbit ears to get all 22 over the air stations available in our area. Before spending the extra money I definitely recommend trying sa less expensive style of antenna.

I like this antenna. However, I don't believe power actually improves signal, as my passive fossman antenna in the bedroom does just as well stickered up high on the wall

Great Simple to Install Works Great

The salesperson recommended this one, and we couldn't have been happier. I was amazed how many channels it picks up, and the picture quality is great.

Brought in more channels non amplified antenna

Only problem was that, in order to get in the weakest channels in our area, we had to have the antenna in a window and spread out as wide as possible which was awkward positioning for the room.

The RCA Amplified Indoor HDTV Antenna did the trick. Since it was on sale, I didn't pay much more than the other antenna.
