Great mic, doesn't need a battery for DSLR use, a little pricey but worth it.

During the COVID pandemic our church did a lot of virtual sermons due to being shutdown by the government. Therefore to film our sermons we used this mic paired with the Rode Go Wireless system that was plugged into an Osmo Pocket. Since we are talking about this mic, it did fantastic!!! Sounded like you had a sound board quality without the mixing needed. Plus, the way it paired with the Rode Go it allowed our speakers to have a professional lav mic look when on camera. I've used lower end mics before, but the Rode Lav Go is worth the extra money.

This microphone is very discrete and can be hidden on most clothing. I prefer a video where you cannot see the tools for recording. The quality of sound is amazing, highly recommend.

Tested it and the sound was incredible and clear. Guess for some reason I need at least 50 characters, seems like a waste. Guess like I have almost enough characters now.

I bought this to go along with my Rode Wireless Go Microphone system. While the mic that comes with it sounds really good, it’s not always a good fit depending on the video I’m shooting. The only drawback so far, is that it’s really thin. I would recommend being extra careful taking this on and off of your talent. Good sound so far, and a little bit more professional than the square receiver that comes with the Wireless Go system.

It does really work. We had a really bad time streaming live. We bought the rode system and then the microphone, It is a huge difference, now you can hear what people says when they have the microphone.

Make sure your laptop has a mic jack or a setting in their soundcard to indicate you are plugging in a mic, or you may need a TR4 or TRS to TRRS adapter. However, I heard the Lavalier II might be better for applications like this.

We go to a church where the majority of the people speak Arabic. Our microphone on the translator went out and was gonna cost four times more than this item to replace. Sound quality is better. Price was very good.
