Build quality looks to be of great quality but would make sure the pop filter will orient appropriately for your particular microphone. I found that it would be tough to orient over the top of some microphones and thus ended up purchasing one with a separate pop filter, otherwise I saw no issues.

Does a great job at minimalizing vibration feedback.

I chose the shock mount over the mount that came with my Rode Podcaster. It does a wonderful job suspending the mic and reducing any effects caused by vibration or background noise. I did remove the pop filter as I purchased a foam head cover for the mic. Well worth the investment though.

can't wait for the mic. the stand and filter are much better quality than the current ones that I'm using from Amazon. Really really nice. Can't wait for the mic too!

If you get the AT2020USB+ mic and the RODE PSA1 mic mount, you'll complete the package with this shock mount. It reduces any vibrations that might occur around your setup, elevating audio quality and helping you create the best content. There may be cheaper options out there, but you definitely see RODE's products used in several productions, so I'd definitely recommend this.

Purchased this for our son for a gift with a mic and a few other accessories to get him started. He loves the stand and being able to have his hands free to concentrate on lyrics etc.

We had done some online reviews before purchasing the item. The reviews stated this was one of the best stands for what we were looking to buy. The item wasn't available in store so purchased online and had shipped to the store and received it several days before it was to be there!

Great product, exactly what it advertised, no problems

It's a wonderful shock mount, very sturdy. I bought this for an AT2020 microphone and found out that the opening for the microphone is too small. Unfortunately they advertise this mount as an accessory to this microphone, I do love this mount and pop filter and I hate to have to get something else.
