Great mixer for Podcasts, or home production use. The Mic levels are improved in this second Rode model, and there are many more ways to adjust Microphone sound. Setup takes a bit longer than the first model, but that is due to the additional options. I wish they had kept the TRRS input, but you can use USB C inputs with an adapter.

Ideal for dual computer setups with its dual USB C inputs. Screen is amazing. Cell phone quality screen. Can power an SM7B without a Cloudlifter which is awesome. Best part is that they actively seek input on firmware upgrades and are quick to push out updates via their *free* beta channel.

Great podcast gear and versatile. I did not give 5 stars because I had to return it 3 times. First time, USB 1 due not work, returned it. On second purchase, the unit without warning freezes. You have been to power off. I love the features and what it does but too much wahala for a $700 device.

It does literally everything I wanted it to. It's got several profiles, onboard recording capability and you don't need a cloudlifter with it should you have a gain-hungry mic like an SM7b.

Definitely worth the money. Dont waste your money on any of the cheaper ones, havent seen one work out yet. Either cheaply made and dont last or not enough features to make if worth it.

This particular unit was defective. Apparently Rode had a bad run early on and the smart pads were prone to just firing off sound effects at random. I returned it. The store did not have any others so I got a refund and bought one from another vendor. When working properly, the unit is remarkable. There is a lot packed into this little box. No directions, but You Tube is very helpful. Best purchase I ever made.

I LOVE my Rodecaster Pro II! This version easily solved my problem with the first version: direct input from musical instruments. The presets for not only Rode but other brand name Mics is remarkable.

A wonderful computer interface and a podcaster’s dream.Works better than expected and the effects and audio preamps shine.

Not life changing from the initial Rodecaster Pro but the internal voice changer and the built in VESA mount makes it easy to relief some desk space.

What can you say, this is an awesome piece of kit! I bought this for my wife who does podcasting and video. The Rodecaster Pro 2 is perfect for her setup using Ecamm! Highly Recommended!

This is the 3rd rodecaster pro 2 that I have had. The first one wouldn’t connect with my WiFi so I sent it back. The second one worked great for a week and all of a sudden it’s smart pads started going crazy triggering itself. So I sent it back I told the Best Buy employee that if the next one has problems I was going with another mixer but I guess the third time is the charm! It has worked flawlessly! I was getting worried at first but there hasn’t been any problems with the 3rd one! I would have given it 5 stars but I took off a star for each return.

This review will date me but - it’s all that AND a bag of chips. Excellent product and I’d expect nothing less from Rode.
