    The Rode was a huge disappointment. You have to use Rode adapters for anything to work. And the adapters and cords made by Rode are on back order. I returned my product. Run away do not walk away RUN away!

    Mine did not work out of the box. Would not turn on. Had to return it. Best Buy handled the return with no problem. Kudos to them.

    I think they gave me an old return. The box was messed up, and one of the buttons/pads is broken. I love the product, but I honestly think I received a dud.

    This unit is a dream to use and well built! Rode's ongoing support is also very promising. But I'm not saying anything you haven't already seen everyone else say! :-)

    Purchased the RodeCaster Pro 2 less than 2 years ago. They have a faulty design with their power button, simply search online about it and you’ll see hundreds of posts about it. Sadly, mine also broke. I contacted Rode and they refuse to replace it. The problem is they use a red rubber button in front of a 0.50 cent micro switch which isn’t reinforced. If you push it, the switch begins to bend, until one day it simply stops functioning. Rode wants 100.00 to repair it on top of the 700.00 I spent and 40.00 for shipping it to them under warranty repair. I made it clear to them force was required to power on the device due to their design decisions. They asked me to ship it to them anyway, and now want me to pay for the repair. Bad customer service. Bad warranty. Terrible design. I won’t ever buy another Rode product.
