For what ever reason it did not work for my original purpose. I never did figure out why. But I have since used it for other purposes and it is working well.

However, it is way too expensive for what it is and 3rd party works just as well. I suggest finding a cheaper alternative.

Apple camera adapter worked better

Connect Rode Microphone to standard 3.5mm jack
