Finally, I can connect my Rode VideoMic Pro+ to my iPhone without the need for any other adapters or converters!

I love it i totally recommend it for any incoming YouTubers out there .

The Rode SC7 patch cable works perfectly for plugging in the Rode Wireless Go into a cell phone. It enables recording audio directly into the phone a breeze, using virtually any video or recording app using the Wireless Go. It is unfortunate that this cable is not included with the WirelessGo microphone and has to be purchased separately. Be sure you have a lightning dongle for use with an iPhone X or later, since those phones do not have a TRRS jack.

When shooting my film, I chose to use a Rode mobile directional microphone to capture sound. In order to capture the sound I needed, I had to buy this TRS to TRRS chord that plugs from my mic to my dongle with a lightning end that plugs into my iPhone 11 pro max. This chord may just seem like a chord to most, but if you’re a film maker or a blogger, or just want great audio for your projects, this chord will help make that possible.

Got this to use external Rode mic on iphone X, does this well, even works with 35mm adapter for newer iphones

I bought this and another Rode cable for audio on my SLR for weddings and it is a must have to plug into the DJ board

In case I ever need to record audio to my iphone I can plug this in with the help of my lightning to audio jack adapter and I am able to use my Rode Go wireless! I like that it has the gray end that helps differentiate from the other cables as well as which jack goes where. Glad I picked this up.. it's already come in handy!

Had to purchase to be able to use the rode micro mic for my iPhone.

This adapter cable provides a means to connect a standard stereo microphone to an iPhone. If you just try to plug the microphone directly to the iPhone it doesn't work, the iPhone thinks it is headphones. But this cable converts a 2 conductor plus common (stereo microphone) to a 3 conductor plus common (which is for a stereo headphones plus microphone).

While simple, I'd been having problems connecting my iPhone to my Rode microphone. I tried almost everything and this was my last resort. Fortunately it worked and the audio sounded good. Will also say I love the black and red color scheme and the curled wire. Good buy.

I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S10 for some videos, but needed better sound quality, so I purchased a Rode mini microphone; however, in order for the mic to work, you must have a TRS to TRRS patch cable. This one fits the bill, and worked flawlessly.

This plug from rode lets you plug the wireless road go receiver into your phone. Without this cord you won’t be able to use it with your smart phone which in my case is an iPhone 12. I recommend this cord because it does exactly what it’s meant for and works perfect.

I bough rode mic and couldn't figure out why it was not working with anything other than a DSLR, after a lot of research i learned I need this little patch cable to make it work. It a life saver, i been using this with my laptop phone for all the recordings. Very good quality.

Worked perfectly, although it tends to pull the mic a bit to the side when in a mount. just a shame it costs so much when a "normal" cable comes packaged with the Rode mic. Perhaps a $5-$10 premium to package it with the mic would be more consumer friendly. That being said, I realize it's packaging and marketing - 5 star quality - 3 star value. There's knock-offs out there, but it was important that it worked.

The cord works great with my classic iPod. I’m enjoying my music collection after 10 plus years.

I needed this patch cable in a pinch to record electronic drums and the video of me playing the drums into an iPad. It worked great! This cable should work fine in an application were you are patching a stereo signal into an iPhone or iPad. Thanks Best Buy and Rode :)

I've purchased a few of these, works perfectly to enable recording audio to devices like a phone + phone via dongle. BB is priced comparatively, you won't find this cable much cheaper online, most BB’s have them in stock, very convenient for such a niche item.

I purchase a VideoMicro and needed the correct adapter/cord to connect to my PC or Laptop if needed. This cord provided the right connection to be able to use the mic for my computer. The VideoMicro is a decent microphone to go with this connection.

This is what you need to use with the RODE microphone if you intend to use it with iPhone. I tried Using my RODE mic without this and it doesn’t work because the lightening port is only for output. Once I purchased this it works great!

This cable is a must if you are going to be connecting to multiple mobile devices. The Rode Mini Mic comes with one setup but depending on your phone, you may need this cable. Guess what, my phone needed it. Sad this was not included in my Rode Mini Mic kit.
