    I saw a friend's post on how he connected the microphone system for his videos. And he mentioned the RODE brand, so I did some research online and then realized that I could buy it from Best Buy. It is exactly the right thing that I needed to get my Lavalier radio mike to work with the phone on videos. I was happy to be able to use a discount certificate that Best Buy had sent me for this purchase, and I used the buy online and pick up in-store as opposed to a delivery option (the item did not qualify for free shipping. I have tagged each cord end so I know which goes to what device.

    I use this cable to connect to my cellphone with Rode Mic. It works as expected. The black one goes in the Mic and the grey one goes to the phone. Simple.
