Getting this mic fixed the sound problem I was having with my video camera. This works great. I had to order it and have it shipped to my houseZ it arrived the next day, which worked great because I needed it for my vacation within a few weeks.

This mic is an excellent product. It doesn't weigh very much, so it is easy to forget it's on the camera. In addition, it performs the job asked of it as well as any I've used. There are no buttons or knobs to get confused about, just plug it in and go. Let it do the rest.

This microphone works great for recording all the video I need. It doesn't require extra batteries because it just runs off the camera battery. I put this mic on the hot shoe on top of my Canon EOS Rebel T6i and plug it in and it works great. It doesn't have any buttons, so you can't switch between shirt and long range recording, but for an automatic mic, it works very well!

I was looking for a microphone to get started with YouTube videos, that would work with several devices. I find this item versatile and reasonably priced, though I likely would graduate to more sophisticated equipment as my talent and work matures.

Easy to carry, great sound capturing and perfect for outdoors

I purchased a nice Canon Rebel so my daughter could do videos for YouTube playing her guitar. What we found was that the video on cameras is "inadequate" for any serious filming. We purchased this mike. Now the background noise is gone all we get is what the mike is aimed at and IT SOUNDS GREAT! For the small price this mike makes a massive difference. Can't do without it!

I haven’t been a high use video guy but I’ve used camcorders and cameras as well as phones to make videos for family/friend events, business events and organization functions. Using this mic while recording a baptism at the beach, basketball and soccer games I’ve noticed a big difference in sound quality!
