I only just got the RODE ELECTRIT CONDENSER MICHROPHONE and I hooked it up to my GOPRO Hero 7 Black With a Gporo microphone adapter and the RODE has improved my sound quality enormously in my few test runs, im looking forward to getting to try it in more real world activities but so far I'm thrilled

Works great but wish the lightning connector was longer so I didn't have to take the case off every time.

A must have for those who want to record good sound on your iPhone or iPad. There are limited lighting mics that attach directly to your phone without having to place your mic on a stand or mount it to a tripod. This device is small and portable great for traveling.

The sound quality is improved but the mic decreases the volume when you use it which makes the mic almost unusable. they need to provide an app that increases the gain when broadcasting on Facebook live . Their reporter app doesn’t work with Facebook Pretty disappointed

Could never say enough good about Rode mics. This attaches right to my iphone and bam I can do in car vlogs and the included dead cat lets me do them with the comfort of air conditioning and not being able to hear it on video.

Great mic and sound for actors and self tapes with iPhones.

Excellent quality product! However, the thunderbolt plug is not long enough to fit the iPhone unless you remove or modify your case, which is completely ridiculous, since this was made for the iPhone and literally nobody in the field would use their iPhone without a case!

This thing does capture better - albeit quieter - audio on your phone. Small enough to pocket. Unfortunately I’ve already lost the protective holder to save the connector, so… don’t do that.

Good sound quality. Only issue is the lightning connector and a solid connection if your iPhone has a case on it. FYI. Also, the rear headphone jack is mostly useless- because you listen so close to the subject that the ambient audio tends to mix in. But - the audio quality is solid!

I love it. The sound is clean and crisp. It was a great purchase. I use this a lot for my podcast.

Works well but you can’t use it with A case in. It won’t fit.

This mic is amazing! Sound quality is superb and the dead cat on this thing blocks out major background noise. The only thing I wish it had a better way to plug into my phone while allowing my case to stay on.

I really enjoy having this mic, took a bit of maneuvering around my phone case but overall works great

I do a lot of video recording on my iPad and this helped the audio to be a better quality. The fuzzy part gave me great audio outside on a windy day. I love it

If you have your phone in a case you may have to take the case off to use it, as it would not connect correctly when my case was on.

Easy to use -especially for people who are not tech savvy.

This is a great external mic for iOS devices. Great for youtube and other social media platforms. Also great for recording voiceovers. I would like the input to be a bit louder than it is. For iPhone video and audio recording, It will get the job done. Just stay within 5ft of the microphone.

The best external mic for my Apple phone. The best mic for making videos or just for a zoom meeting. I don’t know what I would do with out it

It works it get power from thr phone and is cheap you can’t really ask for much more for the price
