Works Great for better sound quality, wind, and noise reductions.

This is easy to use and provides great sound. Wish I got the smaller one though

This has improved my video audio tremendously. I use it on my 70D

First mic I use was a lavalier mic to record some interviews and had to record audio on iphone cause mic would not work with my DJI Osmo Camera. So tride this mic in a room with a swap cooler on low and it work super good with Two step High Pass Filter (Flat/80Hz). So we Didn't get any bad noice around us while we recorded. Great my its worth the extra $50 compare to the GO model.

I am not an expert on sound engineering so I can't compare this to other models but I needed it for a simple video project and I really liked it! In the room there was a loud clock ticking but it didn't pick it up and distract from the talking in the video. Overall I am very pleased with it and would recommend it! The only negative I have so far is the the battery case seems like a cheaper quality plastic, I was just surprised of what it felt like.

I upgraded to this microphone from the Rode Mini. So far, I like it and it is producing quality audio.

This microphone is Exlent for beginners easy to use

I bought this for my son to video dirt bike races. It works great for him on cutting down wind noise. It also works great for doing mini-interviews.

Easy to install on video camera if you get the adapter.

RODE is a great company with great products after a couple years random the jack was messing up and they sent me a new one, I have the video mic pro and wireless pro as well

I purchased the gear hoping that the sound was good, but really wanted a smaller mic. The sound was excellent, however, I returned it and purchased a Sennheiser MKE 400. So very much smaller, a bit more cost, but easily fits into my camera bag.

I have begun using my own camera for videos and interviews, so sound is a big concern. My built-in mic is of course not strong enough and can't filter out noise, and the sound quality was really unprofessional. I needed something that remedied that and was also affordable. This Rode mic was such a noticeable improvement. It was so simple to mount and the sound wuality and clarity is great. It picked up sounds well from across the room and from different directions. I still have to figure out how to deal with noise outfoors better-- maybe buying another filter cover, but it worked fairly well when recording my subject on the front porch. It was just fine after doing some sound editing for that segment. I would definitely recommend this mic until you can get something with more capabilities. I am pleased with the purchase.

Never have I had so much to be grateful for. The sound quality is incredible. I once sneezed 25 yards away from my camera and in post the sound was as if someone was sneezing in my headphones. Fantastic! It is too big though. Wish it was half the size.

Improving upon the on camera microphone for my DSLR's is easy to do - but this product works well, and improves sound quality. It does require a 9V battery, which I am not a fan of - but other than that - it works well.

Works great. Battery door is very annoying and feels cheap. Mic works great indoors at 50 ft for church services on a handicam.

Excellent Mic compatible with Canon EOS 6D Camera. Quality is what I was expecting.

I use this mic on a iPhone 6plus filming mount as well as on a DSLR. Works great on both. I am pretty easy on my equipment. But this is built to take a bit of a beating. The plastic housing on the mic creates kind of a "shock absorber" for the mic. Make sure you have or order the correct connector for the device you are recording with. 3.5mm headphone jack is what it comes with I believe.
