Being new to Vblogging was looking to a light mic to improve on the quality of my camera mic. This is the perfect size and weight and the sound quality is awesome. I have not tried any of the more expensive lager mics.

After searching the web and reading tons of reviews, I decided to purchase this mic. I definitely made a great choice. The build of the product and sound quality it records in is great. I have it hooked up to my Sony A6300. They make the perfect combo in my opinion.

Great mic, using it on iPhone for streaming worship and Bible study, sound quality has greatly improved, only gripe is the mount is a little flimsy, had to purchase a separate cable to make it work with the iPhone but all in all good product.

This is a great little mic for doing videos/vlogs on a budget. It does a lot better than I thought it would and is a great value for the price. It's also compact and easy to connect.

The sound quality is amazing. It's totally worth the price because of the quality and how light it is. I love how easy and nice it was to set up and it doesn't look trashy.

I love this mic, I use it indoors and outdoors. It provides quality sound and portable enough to fit in my photo bag. I used it when I am making pre-recorded videos for YouTube. No complaints with this mic

The VideMicro is Rode's smallest shotgun microphone. The frequency response is listed as 100 Hz to 20 kHz, giving it a nice wide range of coverage. It also has some bumps from 3k to 8k for a bit of a presence boost for vocals. If you've got some sibilance in your voice, it'll be exaggerated with this mic.
The inclusion of the dead cat is welcome and provides decent protection from wind noise if you're recording outdoors. Also, the Lycote shock mount helps to keep the mic isolated from any bumps/handling noise if you're handholding your camera.
It's not Rode's best on-camera VideoMic by any stretch. That honor goes to the VideoMic NTG. However, if you want something that is extremely portable, doesn't require any batteries and produces better audio than your camera's internal mics, the VideoMicro fits the bill nicely.

Rode mics are so user friendly and produce great audio quality. This is a nice and compact little unit. The addition of the included dead cat is a plus. Fits perfectly without being too large on my new Canon M50. Do not hesitate to buy!

This is a great little microphone for a beginner. I captured two videos with it last week and the sound is great. If I had to suggest improvements for the microphone they would be to make the shoe mount nut smaller on the shock mount and make the cable a little longer. When using this microphone with the DJI Osmo Pocket and PolarPro mount, I found it hard to mount the microphone in a location on the PolarPro where the nut was not in the way. As far as the cable goes, I had to mount the microphone on the side of the Ulanza 47 light I was using. The cable would reach, however it was pulling on the USC-B to 3.5mm DJI audio adapter at the bottom of the Osmo Pocket. With certain extended brackets, this may not be an issue.

I love this mic! I'd recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade the sound or their cameras built in mic. It's got an 1/8" jack on the back instead of a proprietary cable so you can get a longer cable and mount it any where. I usually keep it on my hot-shoe though. The audio quality is really great, and I never have to EQ it after the fact. Sounds really natural.

I have a go Mic Pro and purchased this Go Micro as a backup for my trip. It's a good sounding mic without the need for a battery. The Go Mic Pro does offer better controls with the preamps and level adjustments, but with this mic you never have to worry about the battery dying.

I purchased this microphone to record sermons during this COVID-19 lockdown in Michigan. The quality of audio seems to be a little better than the internal microphone on my phone. I have not ran any tests or analytics on the sound quality, but based on the way it sounds, it appears to help. I have loaned the microphone to the worship pastor and the video editor mentioned how much better the sound is when he used this microphone instead of just the internal microphone on his phone. I do not use the windscreen, so I can't comment on that. I did purchase the TRS-TRRS cable, I believe it is the SC7 cable by Rode if you want their brand, to connect the microphone to my phone.
