In addition to the RODE Wireless GO II, I also own a RODE Filmmaker's Kit wireless. The GO II provides great flexibility with ease of use when I need to mic 2 people. Audi quality is great when using my RODE wireless lavalier mics.

Solid wireless microphones with a great feature list. Can be a little tricky to get used to, but they have great sound quality and battery life. They can be a little hard to hide due to their shape.

Such an awesome purchase! I am somewhat new to professional audio but these are truly the most user-friendly products I’ve ever used by far! Took them to windy San Diego for a wedding and they got me very high-quality sound!

Excellent sound quality and not difficult to use. Have hooked it up both to my laptop and to our Sony ZV-1 camera. Prefer using it with the clip on Rode lavalier mic’s but still works very well without those.

The box says it “might” need additional cables for mobile use when it 100% needs additional cables.. you need to buy the cable on their website because no other cable will work. Don’t waste time or money like I did. After I bought the required cable everything works as stated. Quality is great. Overall rating would be higher if they just state it on the box.

Incredible device that comes with ease of use. However, the app is iffy, and you need to buy a separate cable to connect. I must say, though, that it offers better quality than its predecessor.

They’re a little hard to use. I would definitely recommend the DJI compared to these now that I have both I can tell you that the other ones are better. However, these are also really great. I just think that the other ones are easier to use and I prefer quick and easy not gonna lie. But I haven’t had any issues with them.

I was looking for something small, something that can be tucked away easily and I my hope was for one this enough that you wouldn’t see the outline in pockets. My first order came in and was a box of rocks. So the BB team helped me out, when the second shipment arrived, I was mind blown at how small they actually are. It is far greater than I hoped for or expected. Yes! I would 100% recommend this set. Great for location interviews, especially for subjects who move around a lot or are showing the area and require movement, great for weddings.

Overly loud, even with the adjustments, then it is quite muffled at times, not the clearest from the unit itself with the built in mic. No controls but the basics and only on the receiver, which is ok. Finally they made an app for it on android / iOS, but still it's very awkward to use a computer to modify this. No charger, just 3 usb-c cables make it a chore, the carry case itself is a sewn slip cover that looks like it was made for reading glasses. You can get lav mics, but they're overpriced at $79+ each on top of $300 for this 11-06-2021, and then you have to think about the transmission quality. Even if you're too far away, you can program these to work on their own as they have their own dram to record 7 hours uncompressed and 18+ hours as mp3 I believe, so that's nice to match up if there's noise in the air so to say. It's a mixed bag. It's almost a 5/5 over the top awesome, but not with those things to worry about and fiddle with.

Once you link them with a computer and select Stereo for recording, both microphones blend well with each other. I recommend using headsets coming out of the headset port of the camera to ensure your db levels are where they need to be. This can easily be adjusted from the receiver. Used it with the receiver installed on the cold shoot of a Sony a7ii and a7iii and the short audio cable it comes with. The headsets are connected directly on the camera for audio monitoring.

I'm leaving this review to follow up on, but I ordered the Rode Wireless GO II Wireless Microphone System to use for an event that I needed it for. I received it in good time, but never could get it to work. Instructions were all pictures and really not much at all for print. You have to go on the web and find it yourself. Then, after working on it for several hours, updating the firmware, and messing with it trying to get it to work, I gave up. Had to wait until Monday to call. Now that I was able to speak with someone they tell me that you have to have their SC15/SC19 cable for it to work on an IOS device. It supposedly has some special chip in it so that it works with the IOS device. It doesn't matter whether it is an MFI-Certified cable, it has to be there cable. Nothing anywhere tells you that it has to be their cable, and I had an MFI-Certified cable that went from USB-C to Lightning cable that was a working cable. It just wouldn't work with the Rode system. As you well know I didn't get to use the system for the event because they failed to tell you anywhere that you have to have their cable. I was tempted to send it back because of their lack of common sense in including needed information in the instructions but I am keeping it and ordering the cable which is not cheap ($25) for the shorter, or ($29) for the 5'. I will try and follow up with how the system works once I get the cable. So, if you are going to buy this, order the SC15/SC19 to go into your IOS device, or whatever the other one is that goes into the Android. BTW, as of this review 4/25/22, BEST BUY doesn't even sale the cable needed to go with this device. Go figure!
