Overall the usage can me a little complex so definitely read the manual but once you get it all set up it is a great microphone and sound awesome. Not studio mic quality but great for on the go shoots.

Highly recommend with the hand held adapter. Only fault? No local mute, and the power button is on the bottom, where the hand held adapter blocks access.

Great Microphone System

The fact that the microphone is built into the transmitter makes it easy to use. You don’t have to worry about trying to hide the wire from the lavalier mic. The drawback to that is the transmitter is harder to hide in the clothing than a lavalier. The sound quality is excellent on this set. The receiver plugs into my camera with the supplied cord. This is a very nice system and it works great.

I have yet to purchase the Lav mics, but the audio that I got straight from the devices (which were clipped to the collars of our actors) sounded great; I had the receiver plugged into my BMPCC 4k.

The first thing to do is to update your Rode . Everything is great and easy to use. You can use both mics as separate channels or merge them to blend together. If you don't need 2 mics you can use 1 and if you use up the battery you still have a backup. Battery life is great and hasn't been a problem having hours of use.

They were hidden under clothing and could not be seen in the video. Great product!
