Also rode offers a free camera transmitter for you to be able to use the wireless microphones with your camera. You just have to pay for shipping and handling.

Slightly disappointed.

My plan was to get an adapter. I bought one with a Best Buy associate’s help. However when it arrived at my house it was not the right one. Went back to Best Buy and this time was told they do not sell one. I have a newer iPad I can use it with but I will have to get a new cell phone to be able to use this effectively.

Waste of money

I have used them in 2 environments - at a loud gala event and also outdoors. They do not pick up audio well and also pick up a lot of external noise even when clipped to the speaker. It cost us a lot of extra time in editing… will be looking for omnidirectional microphones now

Great sound, great connectivity

I have created short videos, including interviews, outdoors on a busy road and in a quiet office. The sound quality and connectivity is great! No problems.
