And you cant beat the price, I certainly, and I have recommended this to my friend.

Great for small businesses

I'd also recommend picking up the contactless/chip reader as well. The swipe reader that comes with the contactless/chip reader has to be plugged into a headphone jack, so this reader is much more convenient for newer iPhones. I only use this for cards WITHOUT a chip in them. If you use this to process cards with a chip, you're more liable for fraudulent purchases.

You have to create an account with Square. I have yet to discover any issue/s (if there are any) with the app because I just started using it. But, so far so good. As to the magstripe reader, I find it really convenient. Easy to carry anywhere. You just need to connect it to your phone, open the square app and swipe the card! That’s it. Just some minor issues (or probably major for some. But then again, I have only used it once) that I encountered, the chip doesn’t work. It’s supposed to work using the card’s chip and/or by swiping the card. I tried inserting the card using the chip but, it doesn’t fit up to chip so I ended up just swiping the card (which is really not an issue for me). Secondly, it took me thrice to swipe the card before it finally reads it and the payment to go through. Overall, I like it and I think it’s worth the 4 stars.
