The wife and I installed an Arlo Pro security camera system in and around our home. At the present time, we have 5 cameras in operation. We also purchased two extra batteries to use in our 2-battery Arlo Pro charger. We have been extremely happy with these batteries! They charge quickly and the discharge rate is excellent for our use. I have a few high traffic areas that require charging monthly, but others easily last 3 months! I can easily recommend these Arlo Pro rechargeable batteries to any Arlo Pro owner! Spare batteries and offline charger work well together!

This Arlo - Rechargeable battery for Arlo Pro is the a great thing that came out for cameras. No need to buy expensive batteries. The price is very affordable so you may want to buy more than one. The battery has a long lifetime.

I had the Arlo with regular batteries before this one came out on October of last year 2016, I was spending to much money buying regular batteries , brought this in a heart beat, and has been the best investment, this batteries fully charge last about 4 mounts before you need to recharge again.will recommend this product, remember to add the protection plan it comes in handy, had one of the batteries malfunction by not charging do to a thunder lighting storm in Florida.

First off: The battery is an official OEM battery, exactly as advertised. Good capacity, works perfectly, etc. However, it's confusing that the package includes not only the battery, but also an AC power adapter and micro-USB charging cable. The implication is that the package includes everything you need to keep an extra battery charged and ready to be swapped into a camera. But to be clear: There is NO WAY to charge the battery using just this adapter and cable - you MUST purchase the separate (and expensive) Arlo Pro Charging Station… which also includes another adapter and cable (!). Else, you can obviously charge the battery within an Arlo Pro camera - but since each camera already comes with a battery, this means you wouldn't need an extra battery in the first place (!!). More logical, would be for Netgear/Arlo to provide a Charging Station + Battery bundle (with the necessary AC adapter and cable), and then a less-expensive battery-only product, if you wanted more than one extra (since the station can charge two batteries at once). The product offerings are currently frustrating, and the inclusion of the power components are simply wasteful. If you need an extra battery, this is the right solution. But, be ready to shell out another $60 on the charging station, to actually make it useful.

This product is a must to keep your cameras going. I have an extra battery that I rotate thru two cameras.

Same 2440mAh battery that came with the camera. Also includes a charger and a cable. The battery can't be charged directly with the included charger and cable, but would allow the use of two camera's for charging. Could also be used to power an Arlo camera without using a battery.

At the moment, Arlo Pro is the only HD wireless security camera with subscription-free cloud based recording by a major company. Consequently, it's no surprise that Netgear charges a premium for this item. This is the price of convenience. If the item were about $20 cheaper, I would bump this up to 5 stars. This includes another charging cable and AC->USB adapter. These are not necessary given that most Arlo Pro users already have these items and/or the dedicated charger. Breaking the AC adapter into a different SKU could drive costs down.

Charge lasts a long time, which is convenient. We have enjoyed our whole Arlo security camera system. We actually thought we were purchasing the Arlo charging station, but we will go back and get that on our next visit to Best Buy.

The extra battery is self explanatory. Convenient. The charger is what I'm excited about. It's a 9 amp. Most phones are at 2.5 and larger pads are at 5. It recharged the arlo from dead to full in a little over an hour. Considering the battery lasts me around 3 months, that's very little recovery vs working time. The charger is my go-to now for all my electronics. Phone, pad, everything charges up very quickly. If I ever decide to trade the arlo for a different system (unlikely), the charger is definately staying with me.

You have to buy another adapter or have your camera down for an hour to charge. For this price it should be directly chargeable. However, the battery life is so much better than the standard Arlos.

I have two homes and I have Arlo systems in each home. We chose to use the battery system. We were a little reluctant at first as we were not sure how long the batteries would last. As it turns out the battery life is around 6 month. We purchased extra batteries because two of our locations require a ladder. So with the extra battery, we climb the ladder, take out the drained battery, and insert the recharged extra battery. No need to climb up and down the ladder. Love our systems!

This is the best rechargable battery for the Arlo Pro ever. Wait, make that second best. I had to return the best one because it wasn’t holding a charge. I miss that battery. Hopefully this new one will be just as good

Great to have when you have multiple cameras and the additional battery charger. I keep a battery on the charger so I don't have to take the cameras down to recharge, just swap the batteries and back to recording.

We have been looking for a security system for a year or so. So glad we waited for this system. Easy to set up. We have had this up for 30 days and battery is still 78%. Saw someone trying to get into my house 3:14 a.m on New Years day. Love the system

I bought the extra battery after buying my system. Really glad I bought this. It saves time when changing batteries. No need to wait for battery to charge, I've always got one ready to go.

I was tired of the downtime charging my batteries in my Arlo cameras, this was a perfect addition to my Arlo family. I also purchased an additional battery to make it a painless swap.

Charger matches the charger included with the Arlo Pro. The additional battery makes it easy to just swap out a low battery in a camera so you don't have to wait for it to recharge.

Need a backup battery for your Arlo Pro Camera. These will fill the bill if one fails or if you need to keep cameras on line while you charge the depleted batteries.
