This is just a battery with a usb cable and a wall plug. The box has a picture of a charging station (WHICH IS NOT IN THIS BOX) that is optional. The Best Buy site also markets this product with imagery that would make you think that charging station was included. I made the mistake of trusting the site. So this is my warning. Battery is separate from the charging station, this is just the battery. Other than that this battery is great. Also be advised In cold weather it will deplete faster. arlo addresses this on their site.

we have 4 cameras and bought 2 replacement batteries. It only makes sense to have back up batteries for your security cameras. security is enhanced with backup.

Works great, charges fast, bought two extra batteries, now I don't have to wait, or have my system down. I can just swap em out, and I'm up and running again.

If you need a spare battery for your Arlo Cams, it works great. Would suggest also purchasing a separate charger for ease of use.

Needed it because I bought the dual charging station. My batteries last about 3 months and even then they are at 20-30% but I like them none lower.

This is a must if you use the Arlo Pro Camera Outdoors. It charges rapidly and it is much cheaper to use this then to constantly buy batteries

It was a great idea to buy an extra battery. This has helped tremendously in lessening the hassles if taking cameras down to charge

If you're getting an Arlo system, I would suggest getting the additional batteries and a charger to go with it. The packaging leads you to believe that the included cable will charge the battery independently however you need the charger tube or the camera itself to charge batteries. I surely don't want to take my cameras offline to charge batteries.

I love the Arlo Pro security cameras. And having this extra rechargeable battery means I will never lose the picture.

You need an extra battery when you have a security system with 4 cameras, great price and product.

So far so good. Charges fast anywhere. If you are going to buy the cameras it is nice to have.

Bought extra batteries for my Arlo pro system so I can switch them out quickly

It's an Arlo Pro battery, AC charger and cable. Keep in mind, you cannot use the charger and cable to charge the battery. You still need to charge the battery in either one of your cameras or the charging adapter. If you have an Arlo system and are not attempting to run any cameras on AC, you already have a charger and cable. In my case, I have an Arlo 4 camera system, bought a 5th camera, bought the required charging adapter and bought this extra battery. I now have 5 cables and 5 chargers. I can only use one cable and charger, to charge my one extra battery, so the other 4 are a waste. They really should sell the battery by itself. As it is, it's expensive. I can only recommend this as it's the only way to have an extra charged battery on-hand.

It is much easier to change out a low battery with a fully charged one versus digging out an extension cord; plugging the cord into the camera; waiting for it to charge; getting the ladder back out a second time to remove the cord; having to spend all the time to reposition the camera (since you have to loosen/ move the camera to get the cord in); put the extension cord, etc. away. When you just switch out the batteries, you don’t have to reposition the camera. Just pop open the battery door, take old one out, put charged one in and you’re done. Wish I had bought spare batteries long ago. Would have saved a ton of time.
