It is much easier to change out a low battery with a fully charged one versus digging out an extension cord; plugging the cord into the camera; waiting for it to charge; getting the ladder back out a second time to remove the cord; having to spend all the time to reposition the camera (since you have to loosen/ move the camera to get the cord in); put the extension cord, etc. away. When you just switch out the batteries, you don’t have to reposition the camera. Just pop open the battery door, take old one out, put charged one in and you’re done. Wish I had bought spare batteries long ago. Would have saved a ton of time.

This unit charges fast and it's a reliable charger. It also comes with a long charging cord and it is detachable from the wall plug in. overall a great buy except for the price, it is a bit high.

Good battery for Arlo cameras but rather expensive. It is always a good idea to have extra batteries so when it needs to get charged you can keep your Arlo cameras up and running at all times.

Item charges fairly quick great item to have to charges your batteries

Handy if you need to charge two cams at once. It's kind of an unnecessary accessory though as the Arlos charge if you plug them directly into an outlet and you're going to have to bring the camera down either way. I would much rather invest in the solar panels.

Great battery seems to last forever. About 6 months

I needed another battery and got one. No problem with it at all.

There isn't much to say other than I recommend extra batteries if you just recently bought into the Arlo ecosystem. I much prefer swapping them out rather than climbing up the ladder, charging it for a few hours, and then climbing back up. You can do it all at once. The battery lasts a while (depending on use). My only gripe and it applies to all Arlo devices is the price. Sure the battery is probably the cheapest accessory but still, I'd like more of a price break somewhere, especially when you're buying multiple batteries at once.

The batteries for the Arlo Pro cameras are fantastic. I purchased an extra battery just to have one on hand, however I've had the cameras operational for 5 weeks and they are still over 60% charged. This battery comes with an additional cable and plug, you still must place the battery in a camera to charge it. My next purchase will be the battery charger.

Needed an extra battery, this one works as it should!

We purchased an Arlo Pro system over three years ago. With the use, the battery lasted pretty well. The highest traffic locaton finally needed a new battery; the unit would only hold a charge a few weeks. The replacement battery is functioning as expected. We are back to charging on a quarterly basis (I project). My only issue is this. The battery can't be charged without installing in a camera. The replacement comes with a DC voltage convertor which we already have. The price could be better by eliminating this from the package.

I purchased this because a friend told me it was good to have a backup battery for the camera. Downside is that you have to buy a separate charger for the battery as well. The cord shown plugs to the camera, not the battery. Other than that it performs well.

It's an exact replacement battery for the Arlo Pro camera. My only complaint is that, while a charging cable is included, there is no adapter to connect it directly to the battery. You still need to use the camera, or the optional charging station (which is made to charge 2 batteries at one time) - that I've also purchased, since it is impractical to have a camera non-operational for awhile, while it is charging, and/or for me to have to climb up on a ladder to reach a camera mount two times, just to replace one battery.

The rechargeable kit makes it really easy to pop batteries in and out and you can charge two at a time. I also like the light indicator to tell you when it's fully charged.

Great camera. Been using them for several weeks and they are great. Added solar on both cameras and really never have to check on them.

These are simple plug and play. I bought the charging station to make life easier instead of having extra plugs for each battery.

I wanted extra batteries to have around when the ones in the cameras were running low. Instead of leaving mounted cameras without a battery while they recharged, I keep a couple on hand to exchange out as the batteries get low. These have a quick charge time. I did need to buy charging station so the cameras could remain mounted instead of taking them down and bringing them into the house to charge the batteries.
