I purchased a Rechargeable Lithium Ion Battery for my Arlo Pro Security Camera at Best Buy. I love that the lithium battery is rechargeable and last for a long time. The story associate was very prompt and efficient in assisting me with my purchase.

It’s great to have an extra battery on hand to swap out immediately when one gets low on your cameras, but be sure to keep in mind you will have to purchase the battery charger as well to keep a battery charged up without it being in a camera while charging. I didn’t read the box well enough to realize this so I had to order the charger as well. I purchased both items while on sale, and it was still about $110. You can purchase an add-on camera when they’re on sale for about $120. If I had realized this sooner, I would’ve just gotten the extra camera to keep on hand and swap out batteries in it to charge. That way you have a back up camera should anything happen to one of your others. (If you catch them on sale at least).

Read carefully.... you get Battery, Wall Charger, Cable. The Arlo sytem has no way to charge the battery without charging it through the camera, or the purchase of Arlo - Dual Battery Charger for Arlo Ultra Batteries - White Model:VMA5400C-100NAS SKU:6317480 $49.99. So I had a camera with a dead battery, i purchased a new battery(78% charged), I had a choice to take down the camera, put the new battery in the camera and charge it, or take the camera down, and charge the battery that was dying. What I wanted to do, and what the purchase I made only goes part way towards, is have a 100% charged battery waiting, so when Arlo tells me he is tired, I swap a new battery in, put the tired one in a charger. My recommendation is the battery purchase + dual battery charger.

This is the same battery that comes with the camera. It is the perfect extra battery except for the cost. I wish there was an alternative that cost less, but for now this is it and best buy is the place to buy it. I'm wary of counterfeit and used items from amazon.

Arlos incredible battery life is something to brag about, but so is having these charged and ready to swap when your "battery only" powered cameras ALERT YOU they need to charge... simply go slap a new one in, charge the dead one, and wait another 2-3 months for your low battery alert to show up in your email!

Had some issues at very beginning but worked them out & everything good. Love the feeling of security!

Keeps a long charge, very easy to change out when needed

While it doesn't take a long time to charge a battery for the Arlo camera. It is nice to be able to keep a charged battery ready. This charger and battery work well. I charge it and put it on the shelf. Holds it's charge so a long time.

This purchase was great for the one camera that had a lot of traffic in the area. Having a spare to replace works out great. Battery life last approximately 3 months. The settings let you know the percentage of the battery life to prepare you for the exchange of the charged battery.

The Arlo batteries last a long time and charge fast

Love the system and nice to have extra batteries but for the love of everything holy why do you have to include a cord with everything I have 3 extra cords now of no use. Either help us with cost and nix the cord or have a place directly on the battery to charge not within a camera.

Purchased extra battery to have as a spare. A bit expensive.

Arlo pro rechargeable Lithium ion battery is still working without a charge for about six weeks, still 76% charge left. I purchase the battery for a spare because the one that came with camera set didn't hold a charge very long. We charged it and will use it for the next changeover.

I bought my Arlo camera due to vandalism on my vehicle. No problems since being installed in my parking spot.

I bought the charger with the idea that I would cut the total time it takes to recharge the batteries in all four cameras in half. With the charger it does. I can charge all four, that are under 10% charge, to full in under two hours, I can take the chargers to the cameras and get it all done in no time.

We are very pleased with the Arlo system and their rechargeable batteries. We also have the ability to plug a charger directly in to the battery installed in the camera. This eliminates having to swap and recharge batteries .

Connecting the high camera with cable to the current gives a much better option and works more reliable

Having an extra battery is never a bad idea. So far no issues with the original batteries. This extra just allows me to keep one charged and swap the as needed with taking a camera out of service during the charge time.
