the Nikon battery is much better then the third party batteries, it lasts much longer and doesn't lose its capacity after multiple charges like third party batteries. Having two of these in a handgrip on my camera really means I can shoot all week on a single charge (about 5000 shots) and it still has plenty of life left.

I've been using this battery now since I got it, a few weeks ago. So far I've taken about 100 pics and the battery is still going strong. I'm using this one now as my primary battery and the one that came with the camera as my back up. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

The first time I used my camera the battery died in the middle of a college graduation. I purchased 2 of these batteries and they worked just like the original. Completely satisfied with the purchase. 1 in the camera and 2 in the bag and I am good to go anywhere. A lesson learned in the basic: keep them charged!

I bought this as an extra battery for my Nikon D5500 and it takes 2hrs to get completely charged from 0 to 100%. Used it as an additional battery for the vacation and continue to use it and carry both the batteries each time and is super useful. You will never miss a moment or a great photo by having an extra battery.

I wanted to stick with the name brand when it comes to batteries because I can't afford to have issues when I'm out on a job. These batteries charge fast and hold their charge for days under normal conditions and for several hours under heavy demand. Don't risk it! Buy Nikon batteries!!

The battery life of this is pretty great even with taxing use of the camera. I always have two on hand although it isn't too necessary. I do a lot of astrophotography and landscape that means a lot of long exposures and screen time. This battery definitely meets those needs.

I purchased this battery before vacation to supliment the one that came with the camera. This is identical to the one that comes with the Nikon camera I purchased and worked like a charm. It will take 100s of pictures just like the description says.

Always buy name brand and not generic batterys for your devices, I've only heard horror stories but quite honestly never had issues with any batteries, but to be honest, this battery wasn't much more as far as the price goes, great Nikon product, works great with my DSLR!

Great battery for my Nikon D5600. Longer battery life than the old EN-EL 14. I take a lot of pictures and I do have a charger but I still bought two for when I travel or hike far away from civilization.

I bought this just in case I couldn't charge the battery that came with the camera. I was able to still use my camera while the other battery was charging. It's a little pricy but it last longer than the one without the a at the end if the model # EN-EL14

I purchased this as a spare or extra battery for my Nikon camera. I like to always have two charged batteries when I go out on a shoot and this does the job just fine.

When purchasing this battery, I was debating between this and a less-expensive aftermarket battery. What made me decide on this battery was that it had more capacity than the aftermarket one (1230mAh vs 1000mAh).

I tried one of the generics at the suggestion of one of the camera guys but it would not work in the camera. I exchanged for this Nikon brand battery which works just like the on that came with the camera. Good to have a reliable backup.

This is the only battery I use for my Nikon D5500 camera. Tried other batteries but the charge does not last as long as the Nikon. Seems I get much more use out of the Nikon vs other brands.

This is a backup battery, which I'm not sure I'll ever need, but it sits for long periods of time waiting for my first one to die. When I've finally put it in my camera it still held 100% charge. It lasts quite a while in use as well.

Have you ever drained your battery and have nothing left to continue your photo session? The solution: Carry a charged spare. I've very pleased with my Nikon batteries, but it makes perfect sense to carry a spare, using one while the other recharges.

I am amazed with the battery life available from this battery in a Nikon D3400. 1,200 shots on a single charge. Charging takes about an hour and a half. I bought it as a spare for the one that comes with the camera.
