First of all, this is an original brand battery. It may of been a bit expensive but it is worth it.

Got this as a backup for my original camera battery. I got it on day deals at an excellent price.

Good to have as backup so do not run out of battery when taking a lot of pictures. Charges quickly, changes easily and stores easily. A must have is taking a lot of pictures or videos. I use back up battery often and would have missed a lot of great pictures if I did not have a back up.

Item as described. It is worth it to buy OEM batteries because they last longer.

I have been using my original Canon LP-E8 for a couple of years. I shoot mainly photos with an occasional short video. I started doing videos of music gigs and knew the charge time wouldn't be long enough. Thought of going with a cheaper generic battery yet decided to stay with tried and true.

Bought this battery as an extra to have when I'm out and about during any given day of picture taking. Does its job well. I've had no problems of losing a charge or over-heating, like some other brands. Always have extra batteries to take on photography outings. Don't be at the zoo, only have 1 battery, have it die half way through your visit, and be stuck the rest of the day missing the wonderful animal portraits all around you. Lesson learned.

I bought this as a backup battery but ended up making it my primary battery because it holds a charge so well.

This is the exact replacement battery for my Cannon camera. I have tried other sources and they sent a cheap replacement that did not perform nearly as well. What was really great was the price. The Best Buy website indicated it was going to be much higher in price, but when the order went through, it was significantly cheaper - not sure why but I am not complaining. When I need another one, I am going right back to the Best Buy website.
