    It's always good to have a spare battery, especially on vacation out of the country. Haven't had to use it yet, but I wanted a legit battery made by Sony and not an off brand (which sometimes aren't perfectly sized).

    I was instructed to get a spare battery for my camera and as I was shooting some pictures my old battery died. It really was a very good idea to have a spare with you, Now I am thinking about getting a tripod.
