    Horse Riding Simulator

The game is good, but it broken up by horribly long horse riding segments between getting to do anything. There's not much to do along the way besides help some people for karma. If you're exploring, it can be a long way out and back to camp. In the first couple hours, I took "self-driving" horse ride with cinema mode over a decent amount of my limitedly unlocked map and it was 14 minutes. 14 straight minutes of horse riding without touching the controller. You can unlock fast travel for a bunch of money later, but it only works one way, you still have to ride back to camp.

Although it took Rockstar several years to produce and release this game, it was well worth the wait. The amount of content outside of the main story is incredible. You could be in the middle of a mission and get sidetracked by a traveler who asks for your help or by a rare animal that you can hunt and trade in for loot. The attention to detail makes this game incredibly immersive to the point that you lose track of time playing it. I would highly recommend this to fans of open world adventure games. Truly a must play title.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is a world so full of detail that it is honestly pretty overwhelming to the player, but in the best way possible. A rich and robust world, with strong characters--arguably Rockstar's best protagonist, and one of the best video game protagonists ever--Arthur Morgan. The game crafts a smart and evolving narrative which goes places. The world never stops being interesting to explore, hunting is deep and rewarding, side quests are fun and varied, etc. This game will keep you entertained for over 100+ hours if you let it!

At a glance this game is incredible. The open world is huge and packed with detail. The storytelling is strong (for a game). Exploring the old west, venturing through towns, and getting into gunfights is just as mostly as it was in the first Red Dead. That said, the controls are awkward and take time to get used to, some of the quests are rather long and boring, and in some cases the commitment to realism makes for a "game" that isn't all that fun to play unless you can really get lost in playing the role of a cowboy. I'm enjoying it so far but not as much as RDR1.

Dead Redemption 2 is a sprawling Western tale of loyalty, conviction, and the price of infamy, chronicling the inevitable collapse of a motley crew of Wild West holdouts kicking against the slow march of civilisation and industrialisation. Set in Rockstar’s most authentic and lived-in open world ever, there are so many things to do, so many people to meet, and so many places to explore it’s giddily overwhelming. Red Dead Redemption 2 isn’t just Rockstar’s greatest achievement to date; it’s a game so lacking in compromise it’s tough to know where best to

When Rock star releases a video game it is a major event in the game industry. This is the same as Star wars being released in the movies. Red Dead II is basically an open world sandbox game set in the Wild west at its end. The game is open world and what a world the developers have createed. I actually felt what it was like being in the wild west on the frontier. Without spoiling anything this game will keep you busy for months to come. Why are you reading this review go buy this game. This game is Enhanced for ps4 pro if you have a ps4 pro system.

Hands down one if the best games I have ever played. The graphics and scenery are absolutely amazing and I really enjoyed all the missions and side quests. The only thing that would have made the game better would have been if they could have changed the ending, but I understand why they had to do it the way that they did. So with that said If you like anything to do with the old west, the great outdoors, hunting, and fishing all in an open world game then this game is for you. Trust me. You wont be disappointed.

The highest rated game on PlayStation 4*America, 1899. The end of the wild west era has begun as lawmen hunt down the last remaining outlaw gangs. Those who will not surrender or succumb are killed. After a robbery goes badly wrong in the western town of Blackwater, Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang are forced to flee. With federal agents and the best bounty hunters in the nation massing on their heels, the gang must rob, steal and fight their way across the rugged heartland of America in order to survive.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is a good game, but it has some quirks. The game chooses realism over fun sometimes, since I have to eat and feed my horse and clean my guns. The world is large and full of content, but the controls can be somewhat clunky at times. It's a Rockstar Games' game through and through, and you get your value out of it. It is also nice to ride around, and be whatever kind of cowboy, hero or villain, you want to be. If you love the Old West, this is the best version of that experience. It's good. Just don't buy into the over-the-top hype.

Very few games live up to they hype when the anticipation is as great as this game was given, but RDR2 lived up to the hype and more. This is the most immersive game I have ever played. The world feels well lived in. The characters and NPCs seem like real people with differing experiences and personalities. This has been a great year for games. A few others have earned perfect scores from the scads of professional reviewers. This game is a perfect 10 and in a category all its own. This is the best game of the year. Possibly the best game of all time.

I bought a PlayStation 4 based off the promise that this game would launch on the console and I am not disappointed! The graphics are the best ever in a video game I’ve ever seen, the open world is lush and organic feeling, the writing is amazing and overall this is a game that is already one of the greatest of all time! Amazing job by rockstar games. If you have a PS4 or Xbox one this game needs to be in your collection!

Red Dead Redemption (RDR) was the greatest game I ever played. So far after 20 hours into the game Red Dead Redemption 2 (RDR2) is shaping up to be just as good. The controls are more complicated and not as intuitive as the original RDR game because there are more options in RDR2, it is frustrating but I am sure it will improve. The game has more to think about such as your horses health, feeding it, brushing it, etc. and once you kill an innocent person you become a hunted man. I am really enjoying the game so far and am not even 10% complete.

What else can i say that other reviewers haven't already, this game is what you expect to come out of Rockstar games. The new character Arthur is a very relate-able and believable character that as you play the story it will have you completely immersed in his life. The graphics of this game are just incredible, from the forests and the swamps you visit, to the life like cities of the industrialized cities. You will want to just ride on your horse just staring at the amazing views!

Red Dead Redemption 2 is one of the biggest and best looking games ever made. Its an incredibly amazing game. This game was made by the deveoplers that made the Grand Theft Auto series but obviously the story here is set in the old wild west. Where outlaws and good ole folks made their way. There is so much to do in this game that it would take many, many hours to do it all. The main story is about 40-50 hours or longer but to do all side quests, challenges, etc would be so much more you definitely get your money's worth. Highly recommended.

This game ended up taking me around 40hrs to complete and most of that time was spent riding a horse from place to place. It has a terrible amount of latency and a really poor control scheme that maps a lot of different contextual actions to one button, meaning you end up doing stuff you didn't intend to...a lot. The story and art direction are both solid and worth seeing, but I doubt that most people will tolerate the game itself long enough to see it through. Only pick this up if you are patient and going in to hear a good story.

Having enjoyed the first Red Dead, this one far surpassed expectations. Numerous activities and missions in a large open territory from mountains to the southern swamps. Only thing that is annoying is the inability to sell your guns. I also wish the information on the horse coats per breed you have already ridden was specific instead of just a number, the variety is hard to keep up with. Unfortunately I have not played online yet but I am looking forward to it once I have completed the story line.

I've been playing this since launch, daily for several hours and haven't even scratched the surface of this game. There is so much to do and often time you get easily distracted by the surroundings or the side quest stuff like hunting or random npc missions. The thing that is annoying are the minor glitches, I personally have had many in my 30+ hours if play. Some are pretty funny but some can get frustrated causing you to have to reload your game. Overqll I feel if you get this you're definitely getting your money's worth hands down.

I have been waiting for this game since the moment I finished the first RDR. The sequel is absolutely a worthy successor to the original in every way, and I give all credit to the developers that must have worked long hours to make this possible. If you have ever wanted to live out a fantasy of being Blondie from "Good, Bad, and the Ugly" or John Wayne in any number of movies...THIS IS THE GAME! Until Westworld exists in reality, or Rockstar adds VR support for this game, this is as close to living in the wild west as you'll get.

I have a love/hate relationship with this game. The campaign is pretty good but the cover mechanics are so wonky that it throws gameplay off. The world is gorgeous and characters are memorable with good story. Like i said combat is mediocre at best when cover mechanics are sub par cosidering this is a cover shooter. Online mode is lacking at moment but i am sure rockstar games will had tons of content over next several years. I still recommend it but wish i would have bought it on a sale.

I bought this game for my grandson for Christmas. It is an action adventure game set in the Wild West, back at the very end of the 19th century. It involves a group of outlaws on the run following a job that went bad with an emphasis on day-to-day survival. The visual effects are absolutely amazing, such as all the fine detail from the grass blades to the snow on the mountains. The resolution is so realistic as well. This is a slower paced game than he usually plays and I'm sure he will be playing it hours on end!!
