I'm a fan of the series and of Rockstar Games in general, and believe me... this does NOT disappoint!! These are simply the greatest graphics I've ever seen on a game, along with an outstanding story and familiar Rockstar controls & unlockables to go along with it...Buy it as soon as you can!!

Highly anticipated game for me. It does not disappoint. I have not finished it yet but I have very high hopes for the ending based on the high bar the previous one set. Only “downfall” to the game is it takes a lot of time to play. Not a game you can sit down and play in small 20-30min bursts.

Not much to add to the other reviews of this game. Without a doubt you will lose your time in this amazing adventure. Graphically breathtaking, story is very involving and again easy to get 'lost' in the world of Red Dead. No way you'll be disappointed with this amazing achievement of gaming!

Easily one of the best games I've ever played. From the storyline to the graphics, to the gameplay, this is top notch. Even the casual gamer will get immersed in the story of Arthur Morgan. The game unfolds like an interactive movie. Highly impressive and highly recommended.

A long wait for this highly anticipated SQL to Red Dead one. Rockstar really hit one out of the park. Even if you’re not familiar with the first game, the new storyline is so different and the map is so large you can dive right in on your first try. As video games go this one’s a keeper.

There is beyond so much to see and do here with so much attention to detail it defies a concrete summary. Don't buy unless you have large chunks of time to kill, but is well worth it to return to and experience detailed long form story telling and freedom in player decision making.

From beginning to end everything in this game is top notch and well developed. Honestly surprised it didn't get more awards. Hands down the best looking game on PS4. Story is amazing. Characters are amazing. Combat is fun and realistic. Funny at times. Ties perfectly into RDR1.

Great game, but didn't hold my interest for long. Very detailed and hours of play. Online was not nearly as fun so if you're a solo player this is for you.

The game is great but the controls and game mechanics are a little dated you can tell that this game as been in delevoplment for 8years. Also with Rockstar’s strive to make the open world feel alive some of the survival gameplay can be cumbersome and repetitive and will definitely put off players. But there is a lot of good here to explore and see if you loved the first game this is a no brainer. Just know that this game is much slower paced on purpose and that can be both positive for story build up but negative if you’re looking for twitchy gameplay this is probably not your game.

I love Red Dead Redemption, which is why it is with heartfelt sadness I must give this game 3 stars. The game is simply just not as fun as the first one was to play for multiple reasons. The foremost being that the game overly micro-manages too many 'survival' mechanics that make the game just a chore to play. It disrupts the flow of the game having to stop to manage your 'cores' in the game, health, stamina, and dead eye. Not only for yourself, but the horse as well. You also need to manage things like hunting for your camp and donating money, grooming and feeding your horse, bathing, eating healthy so you stay fit and not too slim/fat; at what point is the game more like real life than real life? Controls are just plain bad, as with all Rockstar games. It's really immersion breaking when your character stops and robotically lines up their horse so that it can be hitch to a post, or backs up and readjusts so they can perfectly align with the object being interacted with. Not only this, but it just feels clunky to control with the horse just spinning in circles until finally galloping the way you intended. Love how the horse has no default jumping button and will trip over the smallest stone unless steered clear. It's just a mess. And why does every interaction with an object need to have a half hour long animation to show all those overtime hours Rockstar employees put in. : \ I'm nitpicking at this point, but the bottom line is the game is just plain not as fun as it could have been to play. The game's redeeming qualities lie in the presentation however, as it looks gorgeous. A lot of work went into the details, which is why it's such a shame it's great to look at but not to play. My recommendation? Try the Fallout 76 beta this weekend and have a blast. I know I'll be. ;)

The game is an masterpiece. This is the best game you can do a lot of activities on the game. Its amazing open-world, well written story and deep characters. Hunt,kill, rob, ride horses, gamble, you can’t beat that. You will have a lot of fun on this game.

This game does a great job of making you feel apart of it world instead of its kind. You never get too strong or too decked out that something can't suprise you. The world is filled with a eccentric ensemble cast and vivid characters that make side quests feel more fun than chore. It's a massive game with loads to do and will be worth every cent you pay. One thing I think its fair folks know is that the game is slow. Its pacing is met to put you in the world and ler you take in whats happening and your consequences. Unlike some open world games this will take time and commitment but with those this game will become a haven for those who want to saddle up and live the life as an outlaw. PS: This is a prequel to the previous game. It's not required you have already played 1 but for those who have the characters will be even more interesting considering you know their fate.

Great graphics, great voice acting, storyline is solid. Who doesn’t want to be a gunslinging cowboy? If you’re ok with 3rd person view, as well as being open to exploration, this is a must have.

great story, great graphics, great gameplay. very long game too. 60+ hours with the main story but you can easily make it more by all the other side quests and other things.(fishing, hunting, poker, dominoes, ect) also the on-line mode is coming soon!!!

Story was amazing, game was amazing, controls weren't all wonky I had a ton of fun playing it with my wife next to me telling me not to kill any innocent animals and skin them, so much variety and hidden secrets to keep you busy for a long time!

RDR2 is an incredible game. It is so amazing that I actually own it for every system it's been released on (PC, XBox, and PS4) so that I can play with my friends. The single player game is amazing and, though I've finished it multiple times, I still feel like coming back for more. The open-world is truly gorgeous and you never know what you will randomly encounter. I can't recommend it highly enough. If planning on doing Red Dead Online, I'd personally pass. In concept, it seems like a great idea but Rockstar definitely doesn't give it the same love and attention they give GTA V.

Omg, just buy this game. Excellent. You're meant to take your time with it, so it is a little strange getting used to the slow amble of the character but the world is huge and interesting and there is so much to do! 10/10 can't wait for online!

This game was amazing to play. The story mode is extremely lengthy and there are so many activities that can be completed during the length of the game. The addition of online adds an extra fun experience to the game. This is a must buy.

So much to do, see, and explore! I have spent many a late night getting sucked in to the game! The game starts off with you having to follow the story. It's prepping you for the open world. It then let's you go and do what you want. Love it!

It’s been a long wait but Red Dead is finally back. Rockstar delivered a masterpiece. The gameplay is amazing and the level of detail they put in the game is mind blowing. It’s the little things in the game that Rockstar paid attention.
