Playing it on my Xbox one X, it still looks good and the story is great

Good game, a little slow at start but picks up really quick. I would have given 5bstars but the control action could be better. But overall you will not be disappointed.

Back in 2010 this game set a really high standard when it comes to western games. I’ve waited for years to play this game and the sequel. I was not really fortunate enough to play this game before. If you are looking for a great open world western game and a western zombie game then this is for you my friends. Happy Hunting! #OutLawsForLife

Excellent game for the XBOX One. Two games for the price of one

The success of Red Dead Redemption 2 and the enjoyment I received from that game had me go back to relive the original. It's fully backwards compatible with the Xbox One (also works with the Xbox 360). The game is as good as I remember it, but somewhat dated by today standards. It's still worth playing again to relive the original.

This game is awesome. I actually favor this game more than GTA V. I love the wild west and this game gives that to you. John Marston!!!

An absolute classic, worthy of all its awards. This is the game that landed Rockstar another settlement on the map of gaming, and the zompocalypse parody is not only hilarious if one knows the original game background, it is worth the price of purchase itself. If this is ever on sale again, do not pass.

Red Dead is one of the best games ever made, and now that it is playable on Xbox One X, it is even better. For those that have never played this, be prepared for an adventure as good as any Western movie you have ever watched. For those who have not played in years, be prepared to be blown away by how great this game looks on a xbox one x.

I hadn't played this in about 5 years but now that it can be played on the XBox One I wanted to give it another shot. Looking forward to going through it again, this time as a bad guy (you get to choose whether you do the right thing or just blow it all to h**l, GTA style.)

I was already hyped for this game but wow, this game is AMAZING. I went in not expecting to want to actually go for 100%, but I got SO invested in the world and story that I did, and finally 100% the checklist, and all story related achievements. If you don’t buy this game, you’re insulting yourself. It’s a masterpiece.

Got to hand it to Microsoft/Xbox for it's support of backward compatibility. Along with graphic enhancements, the original Red Dead looks and plays great on the new consoles. The color palette is different from the newest release but in some ways I like it better. The story driven shooter/adventure holds up very well
