You will be thrown into a western movie. Fantastic acting, gameplay is tight, (think GTA). Challenging. Plus on Xbox One it runs smooth. I play on Xbox One S and it runs better than it did years ago. You get the added bonus of all the DLC. You won't be disappointed.

I played this when it first came out on the Xbox 360. Now I can allow my son to take advantage of the full game on his new system prior to playing RDR2. Phenomenal storyline, excellent dialogue, huge replay value. Not a bad zombie mode too

This is one my favorite games. Great story, great graphics for the age of the game, and an all around great experience.

With the Added Backwards Compatibility on Xbox One, Everyone needs to have this in their gaming library. This game is and will forever be classic, easily one of the top 5 games of the past decade. Play it and prepare for Red Dead Redemption 2 releasing this fall.

I bought this game for my brother for his birthday. The best thing about this edition is that it’s compatible for both the Xbox 360 and Xbox One, so if you can play the game on both consoles. It’s a classic game, and I’ve had fun watching him play it.

Worth the wait for an all content release at a fraction of the launch price of the original game

I wanted to play through the entire game before the release of Red Dead Redemption 2. The package deal was great! Being able to get both the original game and the DLC was well worth the price I paid (which was pretty cheap thanks to Best Buy's Weekly Deals).

If you like Rockstar Games then this one is sure to please you. Same concept of the Grand Theft Auto series except the story takes place in a Western world. Instead of hijacking people for their cars, you will be robbing them of their horse. A must-play game!

Same as the original only a little more polished feel to it. The controls seems a little smoother but the load times feel about the same. I figured load time would be way faster. Not the load time is long anyway. Perfect edition for a modern console.

After finishined Red Dead 2, I really wanted to revisit the original and wow it really holds up. Sure the character models and textures are a bit dated but it’s still incredibly impressive. Well worth it to play again on the Xbox one.

I was playing the new one but frankly it was getting just too dark for me to finish. That left me jonesing for a western shooter so I got this one. The graphics of course are a bit dated but the gameplay and storyline are super solid

RDR is one of if not the best games from the xbox 360 generation. I wanted to play it again even though I have an xbox one it's so good so I re-bought the GOTY edition. It's just as good as i remember and holds up fairly well. Looking forward to RDR2!!!

So glad Xbox One has backwards compatibility, it runs great on the Xbox One X. Graphics are a bit outdated, but that's to be expected. The gameplay is still great, and it's worth the discounted price to play this again, or even for the first time.

I own the digital version of this game but bought this as a gift for my father. I love the game and am sure he will be engulfed in it for some time. I got the game under $10. In my opinion, it is well worth that and more.

It's a Red Dead Redemption game from Rockstar... It's a decent game... If you're expecting RDR2 graphics or similar, don't. It is a 360 game but has all the same characters! Definitely a great game!

Still a good game and story. Mechanics are def aged from what I remember and what I have been spoiled with since. Hard to believe this game is going on 8 years old...... cant wait for sequel

I’m so happy they remade this for my Xbox One. This game takes a LONG time to beat, kind of reminds me of Fallout. I’m not very far into it but I’m liking it so far. Great RPG and you can pick your storyline pretty much. Excellent game.

Red Dead Redemption is just one of those classic Rockstar Games. It has a wonderful singleplayer campaign focused around the wild west; More specifically, the tail-end of the wild west. The game is fun and enticing to become a true cowboy.

I had this game several years ago on PS3. I liked it then, but load times and animation cut-scenes were very slow. Playing this edition on an XBOX ONE S, and all of that is gone. This is still one of the best written stories in all of gaming.

Son got the Red Dead Redemption 2 game for Christmas and loves it. He mentioned that he would like to have the original as well, and Best Buy had the best price around, so I got it for him for his birthday. He really likes it!
