This scooter is small and failry efficient. With 3 speeds eco, normal & “sport”. So far I’ve come to get around 3-4 hrs on eco, 2-3 hrs on normal and 1-2 hrs on sport. If you plan on using this as a quicker way to go get around to work and home then this would work. The top advertised speed is 20mph. In reality its about 18. Its takes about 3 1/2 - 4hrs to get a full charge. I use it primarily for uber which means i can do a solid 3-4 hrs, charge for 3hrs and so on. If thata fine with that then it’s a great acooter. Its fairly light also and folds down easily for transportation and storage. Also it doeant have any suspension so you feel wvery bump and hole in the road. It also has no tires which i actually like. The wheels are very durable and havent given mw any issue so far. Id recommend the newer version if you have the extra cash for the battery and app usage, otherwise this is a great buy (or rental)

i got this scooter 2 months ago, its very compatible for small distances around the city its compact and light weight, but on the other hand you have to be very very careful driving it, it can lead to very bad accidents me and 5 other friends went through accidents because of it, sometimes it SUDDENLY brakes and stops while you're on high speed without you even pressing the brakes! this was horrible it happened to me and one other friend.
once your first month is done, you start dealing with UNAGI the owner of the scooter, i went through alot with them.
First of all me and 2 other friends got our scooters stolen from a safe place, it was locked as UNAGI said it should be, one luckily was found by the police and the other 2 are still not found, there's something with the assembly of the scooter that even though if its locked with metal wire lock around the base, it can be disassembled with just a screw! the lock will remain untouched but the scooter would be gone!
if you'll buy it:
1)be ready to pay 300$ if it got stolen! 15 times the amount you're just about to pay now!
2) dealing with UNAGI that replies to each mail every 24 hours
3) Taking it everywhere with you because if you lock it can be easily stolen.
attached below is a picture of how my lock was left untouched and the scooter was gone

The Unagi isnpretty sweet. It's dual motor, so it can accelerate quickly and can handle alot of terrain (surprisingly)...just be careful because after ao many bumps...the acrews will knock loose and thrownoff the handling. So make sure to keep em tight. Not bad for 10 bucks the first month! Get tour first month free too with my referral link! Unagi scooters. Fast ahipping. Free shipping.

Great service. Even better scooter. Decent range for 215lbs, usually about 8 miles. Sometimes more. Sometimes less. 19mph max speed usually when unlocked. Super light. Can be a little bumpy due to no suspension and no pneumatic tires. Still amazing ride honestly. Shipping took 5 days roughly being ordered on a weekend.

Such a Unique Scooter and Subscription Option!

First off, the scooter is dual motor, whereas almost all entry-level scooters are single. Makes it eat hills for breakfast and the acceleration feels great. I also have two friends who are heavier riders and the Unagi is perfect for them. From a design and brand perspective too, Unagi really stands alone. Ever since the early days of scooters, Unagi has been known for this. And obviously, other scooters aren't made of carbon fiber either.
The biggest cons are that the range is on the shorter end and it's a rougher ride than others, but for those that really love the clean design and lightweight portability that you get in return (This is a must for me! You really feel every pound on stairs), it's a clear tradeoff to make.
I've had my scooter for over a year now, and I highly recommend it to anyone who resonates with the things I mentioned. The subscription really gives you a chance to test it out and see if it works for you, and I love the theft insurance being included for so cheap, repairs covered (with warranties it just won't be the same)...and I'm excited for future models too. I'm definitely going to get a Voyager, but I'm even more excited about what may come in 2024. The subscription gives me first access to upgrades, which is important for me.

Would not lease again returns after 3 days, it took 8 days to arrive, the box was pretty beat up, it didn’t go as fast advertised. The customer customer service was slow to respond. App doesn’t work for this model smh. I feel like I wasted my money. Don’t waste yours.

Wanted to experience all they hype and saw I could rent through Best Buy.
Definitely a rougher ride with the honeycomb tires vs air filled. I used the scooter to commute from Penn Station to lower Manhattan and quite bumpy on the city streets.
Was a fan of the lower weight of the carbon fiber but I felt the stem could crack at any moment. If you ever need to take one hand off the scooter to indicate you’re turning I found it very unstable.
The dual motor had real good acceleration and top speed between 19-20. Liked the thumb break too and found it very responsive.
Lastly I received the scooter two weeks after I ordered it and Unagi will charge your 2nd month based on the order date not the received date so unfortunately I only had it for a week before having to send it back.

This electric scooter is an absolute game-changer for anyone who has to tackle uphill rides on their daily commute - the power is impressive, and the fact that it's lightweight and portable just adds to its overall value! I don’t know why it doesn’t come in orange or purple color though.

Unagi scooter rental was a delightful experience! From the moment I received it, I was impressed with its portability - lightweight and easy to fold, making it a breeze to carry around. The zippy performance took me by surprise; smooth acceleration and responsive brakes made the ride exhilarating. Exploring the city on this scooter was a joy, with its sufficient battery life and range for daily adventures. The unagi scooter renal offers portability, zippy rides, and endless fun! Highly recommended!

Only gets 8miles, very unstable wobbly steam, and you can feel every bump, would not pay full price but if you can get it cheaper I would say its worth it.

It goes pretty stable, the battery performs well, to my impression. The speed Maximum is 15 ml/hour, and it is not too big, I can carry to a bus or train without taking too much space. However, it is not comfortable when the road is not smooth, because the wheels are not pneumatic. The mode switching button has an issue on my scooter, I am contacting support from Unagi but haven't heard back from them for serverl days.
