Discounted dream sub

This is my first sub purchase so don’t have a lot to compare to but this has been a great addition to my 2.1 stereo setup. After setting the high pass crossover on my receiver, and tweaking the settings on the back of the sub, it seamlessly blends in w my MartinLogan Motion 15 bookshelf speakers. This is considered a Home Theater (HT) sub, but it works very well for 2.1 music playback.

Great sound, a bit overpriced

Bass is slightly tighter sounding than your average home theater sub so it's plays well with both movies and music which can be hard to find. If you're looking for a sub for just music or just movies there are better and more affordable options. RSL, rythmik for music or SVS and monolith for movies.

Best subs I’ve owned

Not disappointed

Sub woofer

Not sure but i tried it on 2 receivers and the sound wasn't there for me. I returned it. After returning it i began to read about the sub woofer break in period. I wish best buy will have a 30 day return policy instead of a 15 day return policy. That would of gave me more time to be sure. But even if there was 50% more sound it not be gor me. $449 was a greay deal but i rather geyt something that dounds better.again it might be better for others.
