Very happy with purchase

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I replaced a 30+ year old classic 15" Velodyne Servo subwoofer and the REL is better in every way. It should be, and it is. I have it as part of a 7.2.4 Dolby Atmos system where the second subwoofer are base shakers built into the furniture. Due to the open floor plan in my house, it needs a large displacement driver to pressurize the area with bass. Still breaking it in and am impressed with the effortless way it produces movie effects. I asked for advice from REL prior to picking this model and they gave great advice based on the primary usage as a home theater subwoofer.

Subwoofer that thumps

Goes great with my Sony 8k tv that I bought and really brings both music and movies to life!! ❤️

Good clean bass

Wonderful sub for music or home theater.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I picked one up from my local Best Buy when the SVS SB-4000 I was originally looking out turned out to be out of stock. I think this was a great trade off. Larger driver for more volume and lower bass, though it still plays tight since it is sealed. This also makes up for the smaller amp. My single sub is plenty loud enough to rattle the walls, and has been the cause for a few toys falling off of shelves! Really great for movies, but also makes for a very nice low end fill when listening to records as well. I do wish it had the app control that the SVS had, since it is not easy to reach behind the sub for adjustments in the dark.
