The reMarkable 2 - 10.3" Paper Tablet is an exceptional device that seamlessly blends traditional paper's tactile experience with modern technology's convenience. As a project manager, I appreciate efficiency and organization, and the remarkable two delivers on both fronts.
Firstly, the device's large 10.3" display provides ample space for note-taking, sketching, and planning. The paper-like texture of the screen gives a natural feel, making it a joy to write and draw on. The responsive stylus enhances the overall writing experience, providing precision and accuracy that closely mimics the traditional pen-and-paper feel.
One of the standout features is the distraction-free environment it offers. Unlike other tablets, the reMarkable Two is designed primarily for note-taking and sketching, minimizing unnecessary apps and notifications. This ensures your wife can stay focused on her work or creative pursuits without interruptions.
The device's impressive battery life is another plus. It lasts for days on a single charge, making it a reliable companion for busy days or travel. The sleek and slim design adds to its portability, allowing your wife to carry it effortlessly.
The remarkable two also excel in organization. Notes and sketches can be easily organized into notebooks, making categorizing and finding specific content convenient. The cloud synchronization feature ensures that her work is securely backed up and accessible across devices.
In conclusion, the reMarkable 2 - 10.3" Paper Tablet is a thoughtful and practical gift for your wife. Its seamless integration of the traditional writing experience with modern technology and its focus on productivity and organization make it a standout device for anyone who values creativity and efficiency in their work or personal projects.

I would absolutely recommend this device to anyone that is a notebook junkie. I have stacks of paper notebooks that this one device has completely replaced. The reMarkable has made it easy to stay organized and keep all of my notes in one place. It looks and feels like you're writing on paper and converting from handwritten notes to text has been one of my favorite features. Overall a great purchase and a HUGE upgrade from paper notes.

Have only had this tablet for a few day and love it. Yes it is pricey but it does what it is supposed to very well. If you are looking for a tablet with lots of apps and distractions then this is not for you. It you want an amazing way to take notes and organize them with all the distractions then buy this tablet. I am using it for school, work, and personal informat. The ability to mark, highlight, and take notes on PDF files is amazing. Every student and professional should have one.

Really like my Remarkable writing tablet. I tend to take a lot of notes and sometimes doodle scratch ideas. I have been able to easily categorize and organize my notes into appropriate files. Very easy to recall my notes in a few clicks. Really, Really like it. I do mostly use this for work and a few peers of mine have bought it too for their jobs. Also holds a charge for a long time, over a week and sometimes two.

I absolutely love the reMarkable 2 and find it so useful throughout my day. It really does feel like writing on a piece of paper and is very easy to use. It is very light weight and I love that I no longer have to keep buying notebooks to keep notes. 100% recommend!

I highly recommend this paper tablet!! I am a counselor, and I have to take notes all day long. The reMarkable 2 allows me to convert to text and email all my notes right into my client's charts. This little baby has cut my work load down by 50%. I also have to mark up many PDFs, and I can do so and email them to all my team members.
10 out of 10 for me!!!

The writing experience is simply fantastic. Nothing else comes close to mimicking paper. The ability to utilize layers is a brilliant addition & the sync and sharing files with my cloud drive is smooth. It struggles to move quickly with PDFs, which is disappointing. Marking them up isn't bad, but using an iPad or similar is a better choice on that front. That said, is an excellent device and I look forward to using it every day.

I got this for my cartoonist boyfriend and he loves it. He’s able to replicate his art style so accurately it’s indistinguishable from what he’s drawn on real paper. Extremely convenient for when he wants to work while traveling. Very impressed by this tablet!

This device has been a game changer for me! It's easy to set up, and transferring documents from my phone or laptop is very intuitive. I keep myself organized and on track with bullet journaling, and was able to tweak the method to work for me on the Remarkable 2. I uploaded a few forms that I need for work every month, and I can easily make copies to use each month and eliminate some paper clutter. I appreciate the lack of distractions compared to my iphone and ipad. If you're the type of person who goes on about FPS in video games you may be bothered by the tiniest bit of lag when writing, but I don't notice any at all. In fact, my son, who does go on about FPS, didn't notice a lag either. The Marker Plus is great for erasing. Without it you have to toggle from the pen to the eraser on the menu. The tablet itself feels very well made. I found it helpful to buy a stick-on stylus pouch on Amazon for the Marker Plus. I put it on the front of the Book Folio and it's much more secure than relying on the magnet. The Book Folio is very attractive but I don't think it would protect the device if dropped. I've never dropped it - I don't carry it around much, but it is easy to hold on to with the folio on. It's not super slippery with it off, unlike my iphone or ipad. I don't do any reading on my device, but I do have a few books loaded. The page turns are not very fast. I prefer to do my reading on my Kindle, and while I thought about the Kindle Scribe, I decided that books are also a distraction for me, and I wanted to avoid distractions.

ReMarkably Difficult

I love this tablet.
I hate this tablet.
Both are equally true.
This is a great writing tablet for a VERY small customer base.
Get this if you:
- Are easily distracted
- Like to write by hand
Don't get this if you:
- Want to also read ebooks
- Want any kind of connectivity to all but a few services like Google Drive, Slack and OneDrive
- Want to do art beyond a pencil sketch
It's not an android tablet. It has nothing other than the writing and export functions. Oddly, this is draw of this device while also being it's biggest limitation. I find it extraordinarily helpful because I frequently will open up my phone or laptop with the intent to do something important, see I have a notification, and proceed to ADHD so hard that I fully forget what I was trying to do in the first place.
ReMarkable slows things down. It makes you think and write and not get distracted because there's nothing to distract you with. For that reason, I love this tablet.
...But here are all the reasons I hate it:
- Power Button Placement - The power button being in the upper right is constantly accidentally pressed when I use my free left hand to adjust the tablet while writing.
- Lock Screen Function - It's only a pin on a device that isn't particularly responsive which gets really old really fast.
- Pen Tips - This is a personal issue but I've gone through 2 tips in about 2.5 weeks due to hand tremors forcing me to hold the tip to the screen harder than advisable. If you have similar dexterity concerns, this may not be the right choice.
- Touch Screen - The screen does respond to a finger tap, but only about 60% of the time. This makes quick actions like tapping with two fingers to undo your last pen stroke much more frustrating than helpful.
- Exports - Mentioned above, but if you're like me and would love to be able to search through your info really fast with ctrl+f or a file search, this naturally won't be of much help. Not only are there limited services for exporting your documents, the handwriting-to-type conversion is only okay. If future me isn't using the tablet and I ask him why, he's most likely going to complain about this.
- Resize Bug - It's minor, but I frequently will leave a note in the tablet to go to another one and come back to find that it's zoomed out to 0.8x or 0.9x scale. It's a small difference, but when the gestures to zoom in and out are reliant on finger taps that are only registering 60% of the time, it's very frustrating.
I love this tablet.

It is a very cool gadget, which I bought to encourage myself to take/save more hand-written notes for work and personal life. I feel like the price is a little high to essentially replace paper notebooks, but it is a pretty amazing experience to use a digital pad that behaves so much like paper.

I actually bought the Remarkable Pro first ... and ended up returning it for this version. The Pro was great, but I liked the screen/writing surface and size of this smaller version better. All in all, both products are great, but this suited my needs better!

I love this thing! It has made a huge difference in my work life. Juggling so many notes was making a mess of my desk and now, everything is filed and accessible in one place. Also, you can read and mark up pdfs on it which I use daily. I'm a fan.
