It works well. No distractions is wonderful. It is simply a digital notebook. You will not use this to read your eBooks (although you can read and annotate PDFs on it), you will not be checking your email or surfing the web. It is only a digital notebook. For me, it works great. I have all of my notes about everything in one place, on one device, one pen to carry. If you are looking for an eBook reader, or something connected to the web - go elsewhere. That being said, here's the sauce - the screen is excellent for an eInk screen. The colors are NOT going to stand out like on an LED/LCD screen, but they stand out enough to make a difference. The backlight is lackluster and useless in an office situation, but if you're in a dark room it's excellent. The screen is highly fragile - it's eInk, they don't have the technology yet to make these more durable. Battery life is not bad, I easily get over one week daily use and charge on the weekends. Your mileage may vary.

Love my reMarkable Paper Pro. Lots of clients also like it when they see me taking notes during our meetings. Works great. Long battery life. Only con is super short charging cord that comes with no block. Might want to buy a longer charging cord and or a block.

Like - color, frontlight, size, paper feel, organization. This is a great notetaking and and note organization device. It is not a replacement for a laptop or ipad. But if you are looking for a device to take and organize your notes, give this a serious look.

This is my first writing tablet. I have used a Surface and and iPad in the past but this device beats them both hands down. I really enjoy the writing experience. I also like how easy it is to download files to the Paper Pro and then use them, duplicate them and edit. I highly recommend this for all note taking and editing you may need to do.

I have never loved a piece of technology as much as I love this device. I had been getting sick of all my stray papers, stacks of notebooks, and other miscellaneous physical clutter associated with writing. Now, have one place for all of the notes, lists, etc. that I create on a daily basis. The integrations make both my work life and personal life so much easier. Everything is organized and easy to find. The back lit screen makes it easy to use when the lighting is low. This item has been such an asset to my life.

I bought it for my work. I am an engineer and the tablet helps me to make notes during my work in the factory. I can draw wiring diagrams and control narratives for PLC code. Such a great investment to work without distractions!

This is an awesome device and works well for meeting notes and general notes. Annotating PDF hyperlinked planner templates keeps me organized.

I'm not super old (47), but I still rock an old school planner. I'm trying to evolve, and this is definitely getting me to the other side. The things they don't tell you that are cool is the app for your phone and desktop. When I travel, I can open an email on my phone and copy and paste an attachment to the app on my phone and then as long as there is wifi, I can open it on the remarkable. I don't know if I'll ever use the colors, but it is cool that they are there in case. I bought planner pages with hyperlinks from one of the million for sale for less than $20 on Etsy (I got one that is similar to the Franklin Covey ones that I'm use) and I am loving it!

Excellent screen and writing feels just like a notebook

My husband is an engineer and has to draw schematics often. This tablet makes it easier and faster to draw and send his drawings to clients. It like a notepad but can send your notes electronically. Its way faster and easier than drawing on paper, then scanning, then saving to a file, then sending the file. My husband's desk is not cluttered with markers and pens and rulers anymore either it has all that in the system already. You can sync the device to your tablet and phone and transfer photo from the to the remarkable for editing. We had purchased a much cheaper one years ago that didn't work as well as this one, and this one has more features with the app.

Overall expensive but if you're looking for a good note taker with ability for color this is great. Writing on it is a pleasure with the texture of the screen which mean it's also hard on tips. This has helped manage my tasks and note taking at work much easier.

Amazing! Eliminate all the writing pads from the past. The multiple apps, sharing abilities, and convenience, are just a few reasons to purchase. Easy to write on and being left handed, I just turn the tablet on a landscape angle, which works well for me. I would recommend this product.

I love this. I use it for work and love the ability to highlight in different colors and write in different colors. The battery life is phenomenal. I’ve had this for a few months and have only charged it twice. I find uploading documents to it to be a little time consuming, but I mostly bought it to use as a digital notebook for work, and it’s perfect for that. It feels just like writing on paper too. I do feel like the pencil tip wears down pretty quickly though.
