I am a longtime Apple user but I struggled to use my iPad Pro as a note-taking device. I decided to give the Remarkable Paper Pro a try and I have been very pleased with the results. The writing experience is excellent and the minimalist design (i.e., no distractions from notifications/alerts) helps me to stay focused. The only suggestion I have for the manufacturer is to increase the maximum brightness of the device. I will often plan my next day while I’m getting ready to sleep, and I’m finding myself going to the brightness setting only to find that it is already at the top of the slider. I am still learning how to use this device to be efficient in my workflow but I am extremely pleased and I recommend this for anyone interested in deep work.

What this does it does well! The notetaking ability is top notch, the tablet is very responsive, and the battery life is excellent. The one drawback is the limits on WiFi. The advanced features require Wifi connectivity, and the device can only connect using straight WiFi connections. For example, it can't connect to a hotel WiFi that has a separate sign on page - and it also struggles with cell hotspots that have secondary authentication. So if you're looking for a writing tablet that you take notes, this is IT! If you're looking for something that has advanced functions and can sync to your ReMarkable cloud account from anywhere - wait for the next generation

I have a myriad of tech devices, but I have found that my ReMarkable fills a real need. I am able to keep great notes for each of my clients/accounts and keep them organized. Since I can sync files, I am actually able to keep more info at my fingertips. No apps to open, no wifi needed in my meetings because I can sync later. If you work with multiple clients or accounts and need to be better organized with your notes, thoughts, To-Do's, etc. Give this device a try.

I purchased that for my husband for Christmas and he is extremely pleased with it. He uses it daily. He’s always been a pen and paper person but wanted something more professional than a composition notebook especially for business meetings. This allows him the feel of pen and paper but is so much neater. Very pleased.

Easy to use and keeps all my notes in one place, no more sticky notes. Expensive though!

It works well. No distractions is wonderful. It is simply a digital notebook. You will not use this to read your eBooks (although you can read and annotate PDFs on it), you will not be checking your email or surfing the web. It is only a digital notebook. For me, it works great. I have all of my notes about everything in one place, on one device, one pen to carry. If you are looking for an eBook reader, or something connected to the web - go elsewhere. That being said, here's the sauce - the screen is excellent for an eInk screen. The colors are NOT going to stand out like on an LED/LCD screen, but they stand out enough to make a difference. The backlight is lackluster and useless in an office situation, but if you're in a dark room it's excellent. The screen is highly fragile - it's eInk, they don't have the technology yet to make these more durable. Battery life is not bad, I easily get over one week daily use and charge on the weekends. Your mileage may vary.

I absolutely love my Remarkable. I take it with me EVERYWHERE. From meeting to meeting, and even for organizing my life, the Remarkable helps organize my life. I’ve had multiple traditional notepads/books but the Remarkable packages them all together in one place.

I write to brainstorm, take notes, journal quite a bit and decided to buy this when I decided to transition to all-electronic writing. It does the job well. I'm perfectly happy with the battery life, how close to paper it feels. Some minor lags and glitches occasionally but hopefully they get resolved with later updates.

Love my reMarkable Paper Pro. Lots of clients also like it when they see me taking notes during our meetings. Works great. Long battery life. Only con is super short charging cord that comes with no block. Might want to buy a longer charging cord and or a block.

Works well and does many thing. The note-taking-to-an e-document was clearly the appeal. And, it does that pretty well. The menu is pretty self-explanatory and the touch interface is smooth and comfortable. Battery life is impressive. It is super-thin and light. On the other hand, my color screen isn't very vibrant, the smoothness of scrolling is jerky at times, and it is quite a bit limited as compared to an iPad. The iPad, of course, is horrible as a tactile interface for writing notes, though.

Like - color, frontlight, size, paper feel, organization. This is a great notetaking and and note organization device. It is not a replacement for a laptop or ipad. But if you are looking for a device to take and organize your notes, give this a serious look.

This was a gift for my wife’s birthday last December. Love the colors and the back light. Definitely better than the previous model.

Phenomenal tablet. Truly feels like writing on paper and makes organizing my notes a breeze. The new update allows you to take a picture and immediately convert it to a pdf

This is my first writing tablet. I have used a Surface and and iPad in the past but this device beats them both hands down. I really enjoy the writing experience. I also like how easy it is to download files to the Paper Pro and then use them, duplicate them and edit. I highly recommend this for all note taking and editing you may need to do.

I have never loved a piece of technology as much as I love this device. I had been getting sick of all my stray papers, stacks of notebooks, and other miscellaneous physical clutter associated with writing. Now, have one place for all of the notes, lists, etc. that I create on a daily basis. The integrations make both my work life and personal life so much easier. Everything is organized and easy to find. The back lit screen makes it easy to use when the lighting is low. This item has been such an asset to my life.

Great organizational tool for proffesionals. It has brought my productivity level to another tier. All you need in one sleek, well made device!
