Customers are positive about the Paper Pro tablet's ease of use and writing experience, with many praising its overall performance and battery life. The screen size, adjustable backlight, and lightweight design are also well-received. However, some customers feel the tablet is overpriced, and a few have noted that PDF file support is limited.

I was worried this might end up gimmicky... I can pleasantly say this is not the case. I use this for work daily to jot down my notes for the day so I can reference them later. I also have a bunch of audit forms for work saved on my remarkable that I can fill out by and and easily email to my team immediately! Highly recommend this for anyone whos on the fence!

I have had mine for about three months. I just love it. It feels just like paper. In addition, you have colors to write and/or highlight. It is easy to organize in folders. Remember it is not an Ipad. No internet searching, no apps… just write, draw, etc. Lots of templates to start your page… For the purpose it was designed, I give it a 9…

RMPP Move - Not for Everyone, but I love it

Not a device for everyone. However, if you already own a larger reMarkable device (RM1, RM2 or RMPP) and you something you can use on the go (and aren't that budget concious), then this is a very cool device. There's something about being able to hold it in one hand. I also like being able to have it laying in front of me displaying my to do list. Takes up less space than the larger devices, so it doesn't get in the way. Would not recommend getting this as your only device, but its great as a companion.

Excellent feeling in writing, holding in hand and pleasant for eyes. The problem for me is way too slow in response when I want to pinch-zoom in/out, it is painfully slow that I thought unit I had was defective. I returned. I give 4-stars, because for simply use for writing, it is outstanding.

I’m in. Lot of different meetings on different topics. I love writing with a pen in a notebook. The only problem is I always have to go back and forth to find my action items and notes. I can’t carry 20 different notebooks. Until now. The writing experience is incredible. The mechanical pencil medium black is the most realistic one for me. Folders and notebooks. This makes it so much easier to keep all my thoughts organized. And I’ve only scratched the surface. Also great to stay focused with the lack of smart device distraction. No notifications here. Just concentration.

As a heavy notebook user, this was life changing. I travel for work and carrying lots of notebooks and not being able to have my notes from previous times. The ability to have and write on PDFs is fantastic. The battery life is good, ability to send documents is great. I love this product.

Remarkable pro vs kindle scribe

I have both and find the writing feels better on the remarkable. If you are gping for the feel of pen on paper then the remarkable pro is the beat by a little bit. It costs far more and maybe that little bit isnt worth the price difference but you do get some small degree of color which is novel. The kindle lets you read books on it as well though so both have pros and cons. Both also have subscriptions that tack on a monthly bill. Remarkable is only 3 dollars a month but is needed to make it work. Kindle inlimited for the reading functionality is optional but 12 dollars a month. I actually find that i use my kindle scribe more for utility things like keeping my finances and reading but enjoy using my remarkable more for writing and journaling. They are both good profucts.

Hi Vince! It's very helpful to hear your firsthand experience. Your breakdown of the writing feel, color novelty, subscription costs, and how you use each device for different purposes (journaling vs. utility/reading) provides a clear and practical perspective for anyone deciding between the two. Thank you for sharing your detailed comparison between devices!

While expensive, the Paper Pro is unrivaled for those who want to digitize their notebooks without losing the soul of analog writing. It is a luxury device for thinkers.
Pros: Stunning color E Ink, gentle backlight, premium build.
Cons: Pricey, markers require charging.

Great for Focused Note-Taking, But Easy to Lose an

I’ve been using the reMarkable Pro for a few months now, and to be fair, it delivers exactly what it promises. The writing experience is incredibly smooth—about as close to paper as digital can get—and the distraction-free interface is a breath of fresh air in a world full of app notifications and digital noise. It’s perfect for focused writing, annotating PDFs, and organizing thoughts without falling down the email/social/media rabbit hole. Battery life is strong, syncing works well, and the cloud storage features are reliable.
BUT—and this is a big one—there’s one glaring oversight: there is no way to find the device if you misplace it. No “Find My Device,” no Bluetooth proximity feature, no location tracking, not even a ping option if it’s somewhere nearby and powered on. Given how slim and portable the tablet is, it’s very easy to lose in a bag, couch, office shuffle, or even accidentally leave behind somewhere. And unfortunately, reMarkable seems to skip over this topic entirely on their site and product pages.
In a world where almost every piece of tech—phones, laptops, earbuds—has some method of being found when lost, it’s disappointing that a $600+ device (plus subscription) has zero capability in this area. For a tool that’s meant to be a daily companion for notes, creative work, and critical thinking, losing it means losing a lot of value with no safety net.
Overall: I still love what the reMarkable Pro does. But it’s worth knowing that if you misplace it, you’re kind of on your own. I’d strongly suggest they consider adding even a basic proximity or ping feature through Bluetooth in the future. For many of us, it could be the difference between peace of mind and a very expensive piece of paper that’s vanished into thin air.

Upgraded my reMarkable 2 to the reMarkable paper pro and I can't even describe how amazing it is! The colors are so amazing, battery time is so good. The bigger screen is so nice. It was so easy to find in store and after having it for a few weeks i've already filled over 250 pages.

This is my second reMarkable (came from reMarkable 2). I have been absolutely loving the Paper Pro. The slightly bigger screen absolutely makes a difference from the RM2.
I will say that the backlight is great, it was one of the main reasons I bought it (for reading on an airplane).
The color is nice, it wasn't a driver for my purchase. But I will say now that I have it, I don't want to ever go back. Highlighting important notes in different colors has been a huge boon to my productivity & being able to make critical information pop in my notes.
Last thing I'll say is that somehow this version does feel slightly more "paper-like". The RM2 already felt that way, but this pen + tablet just take it a step further.
If you prefer paper notes, I 100% recommend this tablet. For me, it replaced my Kindle also - so I have PDF's and e-books on here too.

I debated for several months and looked at other tablets that have the look and feel of writing on paper. I also purchased an app for my iPad and used that for a while, but I was just not satisfied. I am so glad I took the leap and purchased the reMarkable pro. It has all the functionality I need, the feel of writing on paper and so easy to use.

Makes my job as a carpenter so much easier. I do not have to keep so many note pads around. So light and easy to keep with me at all times. Makes it easier when I can do drawings right in front of my clients. I have it hooked to my phones for internet access so it updates to the cloud. Also when I do not have it with me I can access the drawings on the app. Also my daughter loves to sit and doodle on it.

Review of the Remarkable Tablet Paper Pro: Promisi

The Remarkable Tablet Paper Pro is a notable device for writing, with an experience that closely mimics paper. In fact, only the SuperNote comes close to delivering this kind of tactile feedback. With the Paper Pro, the addition of color seemed like a promising enhancement, and though the refresh time is a bit slow, I personally didn’t mind it. However, my enthusiasm ends there.
The color quality itself is underwhelming. Even when viewing PDF files, I found that colors didn’t display correctly, and grayscale boxes appeared grainy and unclear. Adjusting the automatic contrast didn’t help either. The colors lacked vibrancy and clarity, and the overall display was dim, even with the added front light, which I found far too weak.
The biggest issue, though, is the price. At a cost comparable to the iPad Pro M4, the Paper Pro struggles to compete. If the Paper Pro were priced around $300, it might make sense as an affordable entry to color e-ink, but as it stands, the value just isn’t there. For the same price, the iPad offers a superior reading and writing experience, more versatile display, and allows users to streamline their apps for focused usage. With the focus settings on iPad, you can customize which notifications or apps are available, or even uninstall distracting apps entirely.
Some argue that the Paper Pro is ideal because it helps with focus, given its limited functionality. However, these same focus goals can be achieved on an iPad, which also has a broader feature set and superior display options for both reading and writing.
Moreover, other companies like Amazon and Books are now offering color tablets with vibrant displays at lower prices, delivering far more value than the Paper Pro. Given the underwhelming display quality and high price tag, it’s hard to justify choosing the Paper Pro over more powerful, versatile options in the same price range.

This is the best purchase I have ever made. I take it everywhere. You can download any pdf even books and make notes directly onto it. So worth it if you are a major note taker or post it note nut, like me. I no longer have paper notebooks or notes all over the house... and if you happen to forget your ReMarkable, it syncs with your phone.

I recommend ReMarkable tablets to everyone! As a therapist that had impossible to navigate legal pads everywhere, being able to have separate notebooks in ReMarkajle is a life save. This was an upgrade as I'd been using a ReMarkable 2, which still works wonderfully (gifted to a fellow clinician). I love that I have the capabilities of highlighting in color now, and that ill be able to download color documents as well. Truly, if uou have a job requiring a million notes this will save you a ton of trouble. In my case it helps take electronic notes while talking with my clients rather than facing away towards a computer.
