I purchased two of the Remo doorbells, one for my sister and one for my home. I took a little over a month to write the review, just make sure there is no issues on this doorbell product. The doorbell and camera works great, except the night vision picture is too dark. Can't see clearly on who is outside of your door. I have to install a motion sensor light just for that, otherwise it is a great product. The things I love about the Remobell is it will keep 3 days of recordings in the clouds for free. That's a great value, unlike other brands charge monthly fees for keeping all the recordings. I personally think 3 days is enough, you can download the videos to your phone if you want to. Remobell will notify you before someone press the door bell, that's a plus. P.S. Please check two attached photos, one at night and one during the daytime.

I purchased Remo + because of the free memory that others didn’t offer, so I didn’t have to pay for continuous storage. Easy to install, had to drill into brick front recommend a hammer drill. For the price and features has to be the best doorbell out there.

I have decided to buy this product and the truth is that I do not have much to say I think it was worth it!

I ended up purchasing two of the doorbells for one home. There were no instructions on how to set this up. I called customer service and only got an answering machine. I went ahead and set it up on my own using the two small power packs provided connecting one to the side door chime and one to the front door chime with a common wire to the transformer screw all at the level of the doorbell chime. There was not enough power to handle all the units and the doorbell chime. I had to buy a 24 V transformer at the local hardware store ($14.99) to fix the problem. My ohmmeter stated I was only running 16 V of power before switching out the transformer. Now everything works well. Customer service called me back a few days later and basically sent me a schematic of what I had already done. Not much help when I was at the job location 3 days earlier. Make sure you switch the chime to mechanical on both units if you have an old fashion doorbell still in play. This is done through the app. This also was not very clear. Both units will show up on the one downloaded app. If it was not for the poor instructions/setup details, I would have given it five stars. Like the free 3 days of storage on cloud. All the other units make you pay.

The Remo S is a great little video doorbell for the price. It's not perfect but still better than competitors that I tried at twice the price. In fact my only real complaint with the Remo S is the Cloud recorded videos being in the fish-eye format, but it's still plenty clear enough for identification, not a deal breaker by any means. They do a great job of correcting the fish-eye effect for the live view, not sure why they don't apply the same logic/script to recorded videos. Otherwise I love our new Remo S! The real deciding factor for me was the excellent motion detection, which is why I returned the more expensive model in the first place. It took a little trial-and-error to get it just right but it's working like a champ now with very very few false notifications. If you're considering a video doorbell you can't go wrong with a Remo S. Pros - Quick notifications, excellent motion detection, clear live view, quick response support Cons - A slightly more involved installation, fish-eye view on recorded videos, app could be a little more streamlined.

This is a great value for the features it offers. I also has a great look and is easy to connect. Not paying for storage is a great option. I did not want to wait for Wyze to come out with theirs, so this is about as good as you can get for budget and function. This is not the older model that had problems. Fish-eye viewing is a strange option.

I have security cameras but they look down, so if the individual doesn’t look up you’ll never see their face. I bought this mainly to watch for packages. It can get a bit annoying but that’s our fault, we have a flag pole, when it’s windy it catches the flags. I like that it has the free storage. The picture is great. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because you have to turn Bluetooth off in order to hear the person at the door. Besides that, the motion sensor is great. Picture great. And notification great.

I purchased the Remo to replace the Nightowl video doorbell because the nightowl app is pure junk! The Remo installed easily and the app works great so far! I tried to return the nightowl to Best Buy and they claimed it wasn't within the warranty period! Less than 30 days and it wasn't covered?? Overall the Remo is very good.

I bought this to replace a fail doorbell cam of another brand. It went in easily and seemed to work well. Afterward I found out that after 30 days the company, Remo, forces owners to either pay a monthly fee or you get no storage of your activity. Yuck! Also, the app was okay except that when I'd get an alert that someone was at my door I had to login every time. There was no option for fingerprint reader access and I'm not that fast with typing so I would just see someone walking away by the time I could login. I would return this but BB cuts that off after 15 days. booo

This smart doorbell was price-matched to a competitor making it very reasonably priced. Overall, it has been a good device with a slight occasional lag in video and audio. The free cloud service is wonderful but limited. It is, however, sufficient for my needs which is alert and missed notification. It also has live video for those who want on-demand action. The sensors are very sensitive that even a small bug flyby will trigger an alert. It can be adjusted though for sensitivity and zones so one can minimize false notifications. In all, it’s been a very good device that I could recommend.

I’m not great with electronics and smart phones but this smart doorbell is so easy to setup and use. You can set the motion sensor sensitivity, switch between multiple remo products, save and share recordings, and live answer remotely. It had a glitch after initial installation where The playback showed a black screen along with audio. I simply uninstalled and then reinstalled remo+ and have had no more problems.

The picture/video quality needs improvement. Although, it is very user friendly and easy to install/setup the features are very basic and you are not able to really modify/customize settings when compared to other video doorbells like Ring & Arlo.

I purchased and installed the RemoBell S Doorbell. I have the doorbell hardwired. The instructions say it doesn't matter how you wire that. I found that not to be the case. When I first wired to the door bell it programmed then went to solid red. I reversed the wires on the back then it programmed quickly and easily. It works great even at night. Clear picture. I love the fact that 3 day cloud storage is included and not an upsell! I would recommend this doorbell to anyone.

An excellent camera and doorbell combination that isn't tied to law enforcement. If you desire it to be you can by choice, but if you don't then, as I have at my house, just install it and use the app. I bought this so that my father, who had a stroke a year ago, could answer the doorbell should it ring while alone in the house. Excellent aide and I recommend it to anyone who has this as a need.

I cannot comment on the functionality of the product because I was unable to get it to work. I had it professionally installed by an electrician, attempted to follow the setup steps but the product did not respond as described. There are several known issues with existing doorbell chimes (if your existing doorbell uses a mechanical chime on this list) that the Remobell will not work with. Impossible for me to know if this is my issue because doorbell chime boxes don't all list their manufacturer on the physical structure. There are also known issues with existing Wi-Fi modems, internet providers etc. The bottom line is there are several reasons why your product may not work and it is very difficult to get help from customer service. There is no phone number that I can find and after submitting multiple requests online I haven't even received an auto reply to acknowledge receipt of my messages. So I've lost $200 for an electrician to come out and install it, now I have to try to take it down myself and take it back to fight with bestbuy to get my money back.

Works well so far. Seems to only work for motion.

The major doorbell video cameras charge you at least $3/month for having your video in the cloud. Remo keeps 3 days worth of video for free! You also have the option to buy more cloud storage but for my purposes, this is fine.

Heard about other doorcam missing action so I purchased this one because of fast acting motion sensor I was not disappointed.

Worked fine for a year, then night vision stopped working. Reached out to Remo support and they have no idea what the problem and now they ghosted me. If you want only 1/2 the features to work after a year, then this is the doorbell camera to buy. If you want one that remains fully operational then you might be best served looking elsewhere.

DIY within 40 mins. App setup is easy, and I love the notification feature, the big plus is no monthly charge for basic service, this is what I need.
