Works as expected with viper but not with compustar.

So ive been wanting to have remote start on my car for a while so i pulled the trigger on the Viper DS4VB Remote start. I choose the option to have it installed and couldnt be happier. The guy were extremely friendly and eager to help. You can tell when someone has a great deal of experience because the confidence is through the roof. My overall experience was just painless couldnt even tell they were in my car at all. Such a professional experience id definitely recommend any install needed for your vehicles no matter what it is. Thanks guys you all deserve a spotlight moment.

We have had many automobile installations at our local Geek Squad install location - radios, back-up cams, remote starters. This was another solid, clean installation. I have found them always to do good work. My only issue was the surprise of being informed, when we dropped off the car, that there would be an additional $65 charge to remove an existing remote starter from this particular vehicle. Would have preferred to have had that sort of thing disclosed in advance - particularly when we discussed the fact that we had an older remote start module on the car already when we set up the appointment.

Start excellent love it so much better then going out in the morning to warm up the car gonna be good for the summer cooling it down to should of thought of this before i bought another one for my other car also save me time from sitting in the car warming it up i just get in and take off

I was very impressed with Chris. He was the one who installed my remote start system. I had a problem getting the system I purchased delivered to the store. He kept an eye out for one and let me know as soon as he found one. He also woked late on my truck to make sure it worked perfectly.

No regrets. No letdowns after almost 2 years on my New RAV4. Just installed one on my wife 's 2014 Honda CRV. Bestbuy staff very professional. Cars start no matter the weather. Activatable for long distances. Nice lroduct.

Works just like you would expect a remote start to work...you push a button and the car starts from inside your warm comfortable house or office. You can set how long you want it to run. I start mine when I get out of the shower in the morning as my wife has commandeered the entire garage, seriously she has taken the whole garage over with her one vehicle I dont even try to park in there anymore its easier just to park in the driveway

I appreciate that they were doing their best to get ahold of me to reschedule on the same day when the tech that was supposed to do the job didn't show up. The installation was within the time frame stated and I was shown how to use the starter. The person was very professional and also helped me with a small issue under the hood of my car.

Wayne, the install tech did an all around excellent job. I left the store totally satisfied. However, about 2 weeks later I needed to release the trunk lid and nothing. Tried the key fob and all was good. I knew the trunk switch worked properly when it went into the shop but now it did not. So, I decided to contact the store and make arrangements for a return inspection visit. That was about 3 weeks ago and after dozens of calls and a lot of time waiting ... not once has any human ever answered the phone. After the sale customer service appears to be a hollow promise. Guess I could send them a letter?

Had two compustar remote starts installed on two different kias. The first one (2011 sorrento with security update recall performed ) the installation had an issue where the alarm would go off after pressing the start button on the remote. The tech brought the car back in and was able to get that working properly so make sure you try before you take it home. Best buy does a nice job giving you a tour of the system before you go, so just don't let them turn off the system too quickly after the remote start is activated. Let it run for a minute. Make sure it continues to run the to alarm doesn't beep the horn.... One side note on the Kia is is the original remote lock/Unlock fob does not work when the car is started with remote system otherwise ... Works fine if you don't start the car with the remote though. Also the key fob the Kia gives does not remote start the car. If you hold down the unlock button twice like the compustar documentation says it will, that is not correct
