I recommend this to everyone. Great product!! 1. Nothing to set up. You can use it right away out of the box. Super easy to use! 2. Picture and video quality is superb!! Especially, playing the 4k video on my 75 inches TV is one of kind viewing experience that I felt like I was watching a 3D video. 3. Another amazing feature - Placing it on a tripod for filming different events while I was completely controlling it using my phone from different angles of distances was super convenient and handy. 4. It is a great action camera; so light, small enough, and easy to use that my 7-year-old boy was enjoying filming the precious family moments using his small hands. 5. I have used a smartphone gimbal camera (slow and drains the phone battery by the way) but, don't even compare it with this K1 Gimbal camera. It is the best in the gimbal camera category!! It follows and catches your actions like a stalker :-) 6. Great battery! It lasts 4 hours or more. 7. I love the timelapse and slow-motion feature. So much fun using the slow-motion mode with my kids. So many laughs and they absolutely love it.

Was great until they stopped supporting the device. The app was removed from the App Store and the help email and phone number are no longer active

The video quality is on par with GoPro 6. The gimbal is very smooth. The app and firmware need tweaks for sure but overall very. Ice and easy to use camera. Ready to shoot in 2 seconds literally

Not a delightful first experience with this camera. The battery comes completely dead so you need to charge it for few hours first. You may then need to update the firmware. Downloading the K1 App from the Play store and getting it connected is the next hurdle. I followed the on screen instructions on my S8 Note, but kept getting a "connection failed" when using the Connection button. Eventually I fiddled around and tried putting the phone in airplane mode and then connecting over wifi. That seemed to work... sort of... The controls were a bit laggy. Especially the gimble controls. I would pull the cursor down on the phone screen and it would show the arrow going that direction, but the gimble didn't actually move. Then sometimes it would move all at once. Then it would just freak out and look at the ceiling for no clear reason. There are some other peculiarities with the phone app, like what the Download Gallery actually does. Even after taking pictures and video with the camera clicking on "Download Gallery" goes to an empty gallery folder. If I want to see the pictures from the phone I have to navigate back to the cameras gallery folder. It's not clear how you get the pictures off the camera via wifi or if that's even a feature. I don't know if "Download Gallery" is a noun or a verb; Can I download the gallery or is this where all the downloaded content from other places shows up. What does that even mean? Overall I haven't even used the camera much but I'm already annoyed and suspicious of what will happen next with it. Depending on how the next couple of days go I'll likely return it unless I find something magical that makes it all work without shenanigans. A couple of other oversights from the manufacturer. This is a hand held camera and there's not even a cheap $1.99 nylon lanyard in the box. There's also not a lens cap or shutter included to protect the lens from scratches or damage. I don't feel like the soft pouch is sufficient protection for the lens. All the camera's I've ever bought came with a lanyard, a lens cap (and the lens cap even had a lanyard in many cases). If they're scrimping on these types of things, what else might have been cut for cost?
