I did a bunch of research for a solar charger to keep my phone/GPS charged for 8 days in the wilderness. I wanted something cheaper and smaller. Many selections and varying reviews. I decided to go with this one from Best Buy in case I needed to return it. No need. It did great and always worked. Everyone was so impressed that two others picked one up for themselves. I strapped it to my backpack and each night charged one or two phones. Only down side was the weight, but the benefits well out “weighed” that one negative. Highly recommend this solar charger. Although there were days that weren’t sunny, it would be near full charge every evening.

Love this solar charger. It's lightweight and sturdy, perfect for outdoor activity. I took it to the beach last weekend. My phone and bluetooth speaker stayed charged all day. It gets charged as long as there is sunshine. I knew the solar charging is slow, but it did get decent amount of charge through the day. That's what I want. The most important thing is its capacity. One of my previous power banks only had as little as half its rated capacity. So I decided to test this solar charger with a USB meter, to charge some electronics with depleted battery. It was actually tested to have the capacity that it claims.

solar is an important backup but this is large, heavy & slow to charge. It’s also lithium which might, depending on the TSA agent, not be allowed on planes. Supposed to be within size limit however I have seen agents who dont quite know the rules & over- enforce.

I purchased this mainly for charging my GoPro. I was hesitant after reading multiple reviews but I’m glad I took a chance and purchased it. I usually charge it from an outlet and it charges my iPhone 7 Plus twice from 10% and still has a lot of battery left. It works AMAZING with my GoPro, no complaint there. Fully charged power bank, it charges my GoPro so quickly and I still have juice to get me thru the weekend to charge my phone a couple times. It’s not a 5 star because I did try to charge via the sun and I’m not too sure it works. I did only leave it out for a couple hours so maybe I’ll try again for longer and hopefully it yields some sort of results. I love it and how it came w a carabiner.

Definitely plug in and wait for a full charge prior to using the first time. After that, it charged my iPhone in minutes. It also recharges itself with indoor light as well as sunlight. Great for hiking and kayaking!

Works great as a charger when it is charged by usb, I have not seen it sufficiently charge itself even after 3 hours in direct sunlight. Also, for an outdoor, solar charger it needs some form of protective covers to plug into unused ports to protect from sand and rain.

My other-half travels for work and with all his gadgets from phone, to smartwatch, to tablet, to accessories he often forgets to charge all them all the same time thus he has to deal with a lot of low batt on the road. With this portable charger, its able to supply all the juice he needs to cover up to his next destination and sometimes depends of how many times he charges for the day he don’t necessarily needs to recharge the portable charger.

I haven't been able to take this backpacking yet, which is the reason I purchased it. But I have charged it up and it accepted the charge and stayed charged for over a week without use. I charged my IPhone this afternoon and the charge strength didn't change. It also charged my phone fairly quickly. I haven't tried the solar yet. I may update my review after this summer of high country backpacking.

needed something to keep my phone and gps charged on a 7 day trip camping and traveling on my bicycle since many tent camp sites don't have electric. I was able to trap this to my bicycle rack to charge in the sun during the day, and then plug my electronic into it while in my tent for the night to recharge. Even after a rainy travel day it still held enough charge to recharge my electronics again.

Great solar charger for the price.Easy to use and holds a good charge

This product takes a very long time to charge in the sunlight. There is no cover to protect the ports from water, dirt and other debris, which seems like an oversight for an outdoor device

Great for being off the grid or places where no power access is available. Charges by plug in power OR sunlight. Handy to use for small rechargeable devices.

I got this for my wife. Her job has her working outdoors for long periods of time. It takes awhile to charge but that charge lasts a long time.

The solar panel didn’t work and it’s really heavy and pretty big the package it comes in is cheap wouldn’t recommend

Heavy to carry and all sides are sharp. It takes longer to recharge, the quality of the plastic is poor and thin. The complimentary led that comes with it is so dim, bluish tint and not good. I don’t recommend this product.

I love this charger. Great once it's charged but it takes a lot longer than I anticipated to fully charge the device itself.

I install solar, so it's only right I have a solar charger. Charges phone when you dont have an outlet. Good battery back up pack. You can also charge it via usb

This charger is great for camping or activities where a plug is not readily available. The solar cell takes time to recharge but you'll get plenty of power.

Fully charged in 24 hours. Now charging a phone using the sun. Plan to backpack this June and use the charger for camcorder and phone,
