Great product. Only complaint is that you cannot use other solar panels with it.

I bought this and didn't use for 1 year...I recently started to use a few months ago. It will no longer charge past 25%. This is unreliable as a back up unit and does not hold a charge. I have an Eco Flow Delta Max and it is wonderful!

Power Capacity Was A Bit Under Expectation

We purchased this because we have a ledge in the foyer of our home that sits about 10 feet above ground. My wife desperately wanted to put a Christmas tree up on that ledge and I hated the idea of a power cord running down from the tree to the ground, where our outlets are. It takes several hours for the power station to charge up. We expected once charged, we'd be able to power a 4' Christmas tree through the night. That's not the case. After just a couple hours, the power station was running on empty and the tree was dark. I haven't done the math on whether this works as advertised in terms of power output but I didn't expect it to be so short-lived. We kept the power station in hopes it'll be of value in the future but at this point, it's collecting dust in our garage.

Here we have a six pound item that offers a compelling host of options from recharging phones and to plug in actual devices with conventional three prong plugs. I live in an area that is sometimes visited by hurricanes so having an emergency power source is intriguing. I proceeded to test this device as if I were .experiencing a loss of power. LIGHT - After 5.5 hours of continuous running, I shut the device off - it is clear that this would be wonderful should the power be gone for a few days. I can see this offering three or four days of light should it be used carefully. No longer would I have to shop for batteries! FAN - I was without power in August one year and a fan would have been nice. I large fan on a pedestal lasted 2 hours. I'd just need to settle for something smaller and possibly usb chargeable. I plugged the fan in to the device as if it were a wall socket. Charging other devices - I didn't have enough devices to deplete this as a source, but again thinking of inclement weather and power outages, this would be a godsend. OVERALL - Nicely portable and I like the indicator lights of 100, 75, 50... percentage - also tells you which connection is being used and you could do so simultaneously. I will be getting a solar panel (one of their small ones) to charge this without needing to plug it into the wall. Having this as an emergency is well worth the price - sometimes the power goes out without warning. Now I have a successful backup source better than a couple of charges to the phone. This could do real things!

I bought 2 of these batteries to use with a renogy solar panel and they wont charge. I tried a 100 watt and 50 watt monocrystalline panel and the batteries just give me an all lights flashing error. One battery completely failed and wouldnt charge any device I connected. I tried contacting renogy about replacing the batteries but they were no help. They kept asking for pictures, video, wanted me to test the voltage of the batteries and solar panels with a voltmeter, to ultimately tell me i wasn't connecting usb devices and charger correctly and not being able to replace the products (-_-). I ended up being able to return one device because it was under the 15 day replacement for best buy and stuck with the other not being able to charge it with solar. I ended up going with a bluetti eb70s which was way better and does charge with the panels i bought. Dont buy the phoenix 300.

I'm not a 'Preppier' but being an Eagle Scout (motto: Be Prepared!), a Disaster Prep additional duty officer in the USAF, and having lived in tornado alley and several other areas prone to intermittent disaster, has given me a healthy appreciation for planning ahead. I have a big Pelican case in the garage with LED lamps, first aid supplies, portable solar panels, and various other pieces of equipment (to which I'll be adding face masks and cleaning wipes once I can find them again). The one thing I have wanted for a while is a battery station that is bigger than one you carry in your briefcase to charge up your phone once or twice. The PHOENIX 300 is a great option if you are looking for the same thing (whether it is for disaster preparedness or for camping/travel). Here are some of the pros: - Compact and not too heavy. It is a cube with a handle that folds down and maintains the cube shape. Easy to pack away. - The LED lamps that are built in are on the handle and on both sides, so it can act as a flashlight walking around with it or as a lamp in a room. It is also fairly bright despite being relatively small panels. - Multiple options for charging. You can hook this up to solar panels with the included cords. You can plug it into the wall with its DC in port and supplied power brick. Or you can plug it into a USB-C charger like those that come with many laptops nowadays. On top of that you can dual charge with the USB-C and DC port to speed up charging if you need it ready to go quickly. - A nice variety of power ports. 1 x USB-C, 3 x USB-A (one with Quick Charge capability), 2 x AC plugs, a cigarette lighter/auto accessory plug, and a D-Tap (also known as P-Tap) plug which is useful for a lot of photo/video gear. - Comes with both USB-C to USB-C as well as USB-A to USB-C cables. They aren't super long or braided but considering how many electronics companies stiff you on cords, I was pretty pleased when I found them in the box. - Easy to read power level indicators as well as which ports are drawing power. On either side of the cigarette port are blue bars. On the left side is the charge level and on the right are the active ports (AC, D-Tap/Cig, Type-C, USB). - Comes with a rubber plug cover for the Cigarette port, which is nice since it helps seal it up and since I will rarely use it. - It fires up and activates the needed ports as soon as you plug something in. You can shut everything down with the power button on the power station and keep things plugged in (but not charging if you want/need). Cons: I really don't have any but figure nothing is perfect so here is my only wish for the Phoenix 300 Power Station: I wish it had covers for all of the ports. I think that would help for storage and camping to keep unused ports clean and protected. That's it. If you are looking for a compact, easy to use, and solid battery power station, you really can't go wrong with the Phoenix 300. BTW, even though I have solar panels and wanted to try to charge this using them, so I could give some feedback on that mode; the sun has been a bit hit or miss lately and I didn't feel that it would be a good test.

We live in an area that has constant threats of Hurricanes and losss of power. I like that this will charge our phones and a few floor fans for a total of 7 hrs. Pretty impressed. I wish the pricing was more affordable and there were 700, 1000w units so I could power something like my fridge in an emergency or the above would last longer. Also the solar panel charger is really expensive which does not make this as practical as one would like. The solar is $300 more.

Use this little guy to run our mobile fridge doing off grid camping. If the phone needs charged, plug it in too.
